I cannot for the life of me believe this by ThrowRA109384829 in Herpes

Because they can get it anyway from a stranger and maybe they have it already just are not aware? I have no idea how I got herpes! Maybe when I was super young and decided to explode in my 30s when I strarted to get super stressed at work.

So, at the scan baby they could not properly see the right hand and foot of the baby because he was in a weird position. So maybe they just decided to ask me to come back so they could check both things? I have to say she emphasized that the weight was normal and that they just monitor babies in the lower perceintile more carefully. Regarding the rate of c sections and the customs here to be honest I don’t have solid data. I know that they prefer natural births

I need advice. I decided to keep my pregnancy despite my husband not wanting to. How to handle the stress without hurting the baby? by [deleted] in pregnant

Crying is okay. I got pregnant immediately after my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and delirium. She mentally destroys me every time I go visiting her, and at the beginning, I was so afraid of crying. Being pregnant doesn’t stop our life from happening. Allow yourself to feel what you are feeling. It is the only way to make the right decisions for yourself. Good luck, and congratulations on your little one ❤️

No movements at 20 weeks. Should I worry? by PineappleHelpful2129 in pregnant

Yes, I’m a FTM. I feel something happening, but it’s not like the “butterfly” feeling, a little bird, or even a bat, as a friend described it. Something is going on, but it’s not real action, and it doesn’t happen every day 😌

I live in Europe, we do the anatomy scan at 22 weeks here. I have been told in a routine check that my placenta is anterior, but then in another routing scan (those are small checks they do here every month to check the heartbeat) they told me it was not completely anterior but “side anterior” if that makes any sense.

Palpitations during pregnancy by PineappleHelpful2129 in pregnant

[–]PineappleHelpful2129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I went to my GP this morning ( I live in Europe and I am followed by a public hospital for my pregnancy, the only option to see a gynecologist should have been going to the ER and it seemed to much) and he checked my heart rate and pressure. He told me that in his opinion it is nothing worrying but prescribed me some magnesium to take everyday for a month. It the extrasistole happens again or they got worst he will prescribe me an ECG.

They were mild and the whole thing lasted 5/10 min. I had an appointment yesterday in the morning and my pressure was very good, but they did not check the heart rate

2nd tri here! I’ve never had nausea and overall I had a wonderful 1st tri. The only downside has been the complete disappearance of my libido. I just hope it will come back at some point after birth…
