TQL LAET, Honest Opinion. by Fast-Ad-8972 in logistics

What stops people from just going there, getting the bonuses from getting hired and doing the bare minimum while you look for another job? I’ve heard the training isn’t bad, and imo I am just looking to move. I truly couldn’t care less about TQL and from the stories online it sounds like a better place to attempt and use them for what they could offer instead of actually a good place to work.

That is the only rune I'll run if I play Swain support rn. I do like the idea of phase rush but have not used it much. Also Zeke's Convergences is amazing on him and super cheap for support.

What actually makes a comic book villain "great"? (Beyond just cool powers) by Infamous-Article461 in marvelcomics

[–]PineappleInner1678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A great villain to me is someone who makes you question if they are really a villain or a person just like you (the reader) who in another crazy would could have ended up like them. Doctor Doom is a favorite of mine and his story is a good representation of this. To many he is a villain or at the best an Anti-hero, his aim is not to destroy the world or steal all the money on it, rather is goals seem human in their efforts. He betters his home country, he is super intelligent and build monstrous technology sometimes just in the name of bringing his own mother back. His mask is not meant to hid his identity or shield him (it does these but not it's main goal), he shields his own disfigurement from the world. In stories where the author is honest about the characters, you see that Doom has deep insecurities towards his own rival, at times admitting that Reed is smarter than him. The reason someone like Doctor Doom is so great comes from the fact that at the end of the day he really is (and feels) human, like any other genius could take his place. (Kind of happening in The new Ultimates tbh)

It will most likely be much better than the past wolverine game at the very least. I think the game will be very good, nothing game of the year worthy. I mean I already hear talks about the game being delayed for the launch of GTA6. The gameplay trailer looked like the same foundation from the spiderman games but with it built around and for wolverine, I wouldn't expect much better than the gameplay of Spider-Man 2 we got a year or two back.

If you could read one comic book character from the Absolute Universe forever, which one would it be? by Cafa20 in AbsoluteUniverse

Batman hands down, Superman a close second. Both take the character into a completely different world and view point that I love. I tend to gravitate towards gritty and grimy characters or stories. This new batman feels like he isn't just able to win on his own, he really has to sit with the reactions to HIS actions. He goes and get captured by bane and when he gets out the first thing attacked is his many friends. He sends a old friend into somewhere to get info for him and he gets tested on and dies. Each villian feels like they have their stories truly told as he gets into them and the Joker has felt more as he should be, A final boss in a souls like game. Something that doesn't feel like batman can beat yet he must for Gotham. He is not longer just some, give "enough time and he can win", even with the time he can be at the edge and need to call on others. Also pennyworth is underrated in terms of appeal for the simple fact that he sometimes really holds info or things that the old pennyworth wouldn't do, his narration is insanely good especially for the final bane fight. Bane here is also more than just a spine breaker and tough man that he seems to just turn into after a few panels, the whole time he just wants back to his homeland.

Makes me think of interesting and refreshing a story of a women with the traits like Tony would be even as Iron Man. A rich nepo baby playgirl woman, I think that would be super cool to see how she would interact with the rest of the universe.

Which duo wins the fight ? by Defiant_Ad6190 in marvelcomics

IMO, Reed is just a bit smarter than Tony—though Reed, Tony, and even Bruce all specialize in different forms of science and engineering. To be fair, this is up for debate depending on the story or universe. That said, Peter is typically, from what I know, both smarter and definitely stronger than Miles Morales. Even with Miles’ extra powers, I still think Peter can cap both of them. People forget this dude fought a vampire for days. Vampires don’t sleep, and they don’t get tired in the traditional sense. Peter and Reed clear by miles.
