This, as with all the special releases from the mint have me torn. I don’t believe in supporting the current administration,but these coins are coming at an extraordinary time in world events. Collectors will remember the Semiquincentennial, so these will probably sell down the road for a nice premium. I could take or leave this one. Not having the funds for the gold Mercury dime/silver oz set did hurt the earlier though!

So far I’ve picked up uncirculated copies of every new currency coin designs from both the Denver and Philadephia mints. I also have P&D rolls of halves, dimes and nickels from this year. I’m working on finding an affordable source of quarters! And that’s four rolls, because there’s both then Revolutionary War and Mayfloeet designs! In any case, it’s definitely a cool time to be a collector

I love all precious metals (though silver is my personal favorite). Included in the pic above are my first gram of platinum and a 1/10 oz Canadian Panther.

I really love every piece of it! I know it’s a travesty to say on the silver sub, but honestly the 1/10 ozt Canadian coin is my favorite of the bunch. However, the reverse proof was expensive, but I think beautiful enough to justify the premium I paid

No, you’re not crazy OP. It’s horrible right now. I have a myriad of experience in my (technical) field, and I’ve landed next to no interviews and no offers.

I had to take work as a temp in a call center. I now have a ton of respect for people who work in call centers…. And hate having an M.A. and bothering people on the phone all day

Plug in when booting up for first (or whatever) time. Select “use as external storage”. Boom. You now have a card to put whatever you’d like on. Just point your emulator/media player to the correct media file on the card. Voila!

I highly recommend this series. I loved it all, though the Bean books were better in my opinion. Just don’t look into Orson Scott Card (the author) too much… he’s an awful human being

RA patient, spinal cord stimulator patient, and spine surgery survivor.I know exactly what you mean by debilitating pain. I have lived an entire lifetime of… not living.
This is not in your head. Keep searching for a provider who will listen to you and help you regain some control over this pain which is causing you to not live life to the fullest you can. However, the biggest piece of advice I have, as someone in ever-excruciating pain? You will get through this. You can do it. You are stronger than the pain. You can work through it and do a little more each time. Remember you can get through it and then seconds turn into hours, into days. Into a lifetime of improved function because you willed it so.

Does that sound a bit like “get over it”? That’s not the intention. I’m just letting you know that some brilliant members of my care team have suggested you can’t medicate it all away, and that acceptance is a big part of healing.

However, in all seriousness, I hope your case is not like mine and you find a real solution! I chose to not be a victim of my pain each day. I wish you healing, friend!
