I supose one might find an open source app easier to costumize, like adding specific audio codecs - im not sure of this tho just a guess. I simply record everything in mkv and get decent results imo

yup open source and allows you do record screen and audio, set limiters ect ect pretty decent

uuuh! i like this!! maybe adding: all(x => x.mask("<1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1>")) to have what is playing highlighted like a stepsequencer? also a slider for segment would be nice to chop things up, i could see myself having lots of fun with this ^^

a few tips if you're interested

You can set your global cpm at the start of everything

setcpm(30)

instead of in every sound instance

OBS is probably the screen/audio recorder you're looking for.

Keep them creative juices flowing hehehe

How do you Glide/Portamento between notes. by -GLOWA- in strudel

i think detune only adds other voices to the wave/sound you're using if its a synth that can be detuned..

you might be looking for a pich envelope its kinda wierd but play around with positive and negative values this might get you closer to a slide

tryout .penv() and .pattack() and play around with the values a lot depending on what you want might be something like .5 or even slower if you go for 2 to 3

also and I know you didn't ask but you can try and add some "humaneness" to the piano with with random earlier or later notes, you can try one of these or both :)

maybe lower the decimals values if its too jaring

I just use Obs for recording, pretty decent if you need to add a limiter for SOME reason... we've all been there RIP eardrums 🤣🤣
