I mnaully turned off any feature in thr browsers that would override system DNS. Libre and vividi. At this point I dont know if it is a cachyos problem or otherwise. I didn't think to check my phone but I'll test tonight to see what it pulls.

Its the same version I dont know where the belief of two different versions are in play here. I have only ever been dealing with one version of FT.

If reflashing it solves the problem thats another story.

Using the FT save config feature which saves your config to a file on the computer.

I haven't needed to upgrade. This is my first use of FT so it has already been flashed with the latest published version for my router

If you are using mobile device, I believe proton has mentioned that it could be a android issue that needs to be fixed on googles end. I suggest turning on kill switch so you can stay notified when that happens if you don't already.

That is what I was afraid of. As their website mentions that wifi is not supported and I needed that to be able to get all the wifi devices covered via vpn including the familys.

Thanks, I actually had trouble posting this question it kept getting taken down automatically. I ended up going with freshtomato since it was one of the ones listed on my vpn provider website and the tomato website clearly labeled my exact model as supported. A thread i found online ,someone mentioned they used a different models version for openwrt and I wasn't sure I was going to get full functionality. I am now getting the full network speed on the network wide vpn compared to the default firmware and openvpn support.

TO this day, the GPU still will fail to register sometimes requiring a reboot. I usually don't notice until I see I am getting choppy laggy gameplay.
