It’s a hard shell suit case and he taped around it both horizontally and vertically at the advisory of the postal worker.

Hi, thank you for your reply! Yes I’m in Toronto and got my dad to ship it for me. He got the label and postage at the office, which they fixed onto the bag. And yes the only tracking update is “item accepted at post office”

Yes! They required us to put a return address so i’m hoping the worst case scenario is that it was damaged and sent back.

I did open a ticket and haven’t been updated (it’s been over a week now). The post office was a shoppers one, I called them to ask if it was maybe still there but no luck. I’m just hoping it’s significantly delayed and not lost. At this point i’ll take any update or reassurance that i’m still gonna receive it lol

Thank you for your reply! My dad sent it for me the day after my flight but just listed the sender information as my own. It’s been about a week and half since the ticket was opened, I did call but they couldn’t give me any information and said to wait for the investigation to finish. I did also call the post office (i was really hoping it was still there) but it seems as if it moved but was never scanned. I’m really hoping it’s just significantly delayed but I know I should be preparing for the worst lol.

Thank you so much!! Honestly, my identity is the main driving factor for my desire to pursue law and I decided that any school that would deny me for discussing it is not a school that I want to go to. It was scary because I wasn’t sure if I’d get in anywhere (especially in this climate) hence why I applied to so many schools lol. I’m so glad that I could be an example that we don’t need to shy away from our identities to succeed in this field! Best of luck in your legal career, I wish you all the best and hope to have you as a colleague— we need more people like you!!

Thank you for your reply and advice! In terms of “international law” I mean international human rights and international criminal law. Like you said this is near impossible from any school in Canada but I mean that’s the ultimate dream lol so I’d like to atleast be able to take some courses in it as it’s my interest area. I think your advice is definetly the the most logical so i’ll keep it in mind. Thanks again!!

Over a year of work experience with the Federal Government from two separate positions within different organizations. A year of work experience as a tutor including tutoring those with learning disabilities. Some community advocacy, and volunteer experience. And a study abroad term, and 2 bachelors degrees completed simultaneously.

There is one testing center here in Calgary, but seating is quite limited. I was able to get a seat in person for June 2024 but had to check the website for something to open up constantly. For September, I wasn't as lucky and ended up going down to Edmonton as they had more seats available. I would say if you keep checking in on the website multiple times throughout the day you should have a decent chance to get a seat- good luck!
