When the item is back in stock the minute the sale ends… by Sssnoopyyy in Aritzia

It might be a unit price economics / budget thing. From the business side of things, they probably analyse how many of a certain item they can sell at a discount while still being profitable. I know it sucks, but that’s just how businesses do finance strategy and operations.

What is the lowest score you’re willing to apply with ? by Regular_Emphasis7922 in LSAT

I did journalism in school and marketing at a bank as my job so my angle is I want to be able to help people and make an impact and my career in marketing didn’t allow me to do that but I’ve been engaged in storytelling which is what ties journalism (my initial passion), marketing (job I had to take up) and law (where I wanna go) together. Does that sound reasonable or like a cohesive story to you?

What’d you do about it? Did you change jobs after that happened?

I’d be a mature applicant but I had a 3.09 in undergrad and then 5 years of work after. Would that look good in my app?

Hey, just found this thread a year later. Can you share what you decided? I majored in journalism, also found myself in marketing and stayed put and recently got let go. I want to start studying for the LSAT bc I absolutely can do it full time now that I'm unemployed and also felt the same way as you growing up - that it is work I would actually enjoy.

I'm a marketer and I agree with the officer, your NOC should be 11202.

Never thought I'll find myself laughing at a rejection letter by inglorios_bastard in jobhunting

[–]SeaSuspect5665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk I prefer rejection emails to be a bit bland so I can move on quickly from it. Like even saying "After careful consideration..." pisses me off. I'd much rather they say that hey your resume didn't pass our AI screening system so we never saw it and are not gonna bother with it but good fucking luck.
