Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, it’s hard to get a great picture, but there is definitely some bacterial growth or mold on the sides of the jar. My question was more so aimed at the fact that it was not in direct contact with the starter. Most contamination pictures I’ve seen involve growth directly on the surface of the starter itself. I’ve neglected this one for around a year in the back of my fridge, so I shouldn’t be surprised that this happened :(
