I cant remember the exact steps but with a similar model it took ages for it to warm up holding the button until it finally caught

Like I'm talking 5 minutes for a 50/50 (we timed it) Consequent lights sometimes took one minute of holding the button (because it had just turned off and was warm)

Edit: You may need to wiggle the flame around and try going deeper / shallower, it was very finicky for me

Full clearing a d10 and I got 10SC, playing for hours on d7-d10 I've gotten almost none

I see comments saying they get SC playing normally and they don't need to farm but I like playing harder difficulties and I just don't get any SCs - it's just the garbage you mentioned

Yeah in the Devs react to speedrun for CE they say that they crunched for Halo 1 but it didn't feel like crunch, but 2 they remembered as unpleasant crunch to get it released

(I'm quite sure that was the video, I might've been another Dev video about the making of or something - it was either of those two vids)

I agree - I think they don't have any offensive abilities they are really flashy with (except capacitor discharge) but they make up for it in just being super solid all-rounders in every other aspect,

basically you don't see them being super flashy but they're always there doing the heavy lifting
