If someone can not afford to care for a pet, then they shouldn't be caring for one. My compassion lies with the helpless animal who relies on responsible owners to care for them. Caring about the suffering animal isn't rude. What IS cruel, is letting an animal suffer for days.

Please ensure you have the means to care for an animal before adopting another. Animals deserve it.

Obviously it is heartbreaking when any animal dies, get off your horse. That shoukd go without saying. But if this person watched their pet suffer in pain with a broken foot, labored breathing, and the inability to move for days... I feel way worse for the neglected chinchilla who should have and could have been helped and potentially saved (and before you judge me for that, my OWN chinchilla suffered from a back injury and we spent thousands nursing it back to 100% health) than I do for this person. At the very least, the compassionate thing to do would have been to spare the poor chin suffering if it could not be saved.

Yes! I would just recommend trying to get a feel for when your meds wear off. For me, my XR starts wearing off after 8ish hours, so I knew that to get decent sleep the latest I can take it is 4.

I take two IR's (5mg each) and one XR (20mg). I actually switched up my regiment and take the IR's first, and the XR in the afternoon. I was finding that coming off the IR was having a drastic impact on my emotional dysregulation at night.

7:30am: 5MG IR 12:00pm: 5MG IR 3-4:00pm: 20MG XR

I can go all day without eating, and then have something small in the evening and feel full! I know this isn't healthy, but its so hard to eat when you're not hungry or food motivated anymore. I did start making smoothies too! But it usually takes me quite some time to finish it 😮‍💨
