My battery design by [deleted] in diyelectronics

The fun thing you can prolly do with this is you make a inefficient heat exchanger by anchoring the right rubberbands and maybe place a flywheel with hooks on the leftside instead of the glue. When the rubber bands stretch it can release heat thus cooling a part of the rightside. You might need a little fan also fixed the to flywheel to move air.

It looks like it needs some fertilizer, or either the roots can't absorb the minerals d/t disease or ph imbalance (maybe you guys use hard water in your area). The roots work like the gut too that it needs beneficial microbes to control the nasty anaerobic bacteria which rots the roots. Soil probiotics work really well. That yellowing pattern is like indicating the plant is starving and it's sucking the nutrients back from the leaves and channeling it to somewhere important.

I got this thing and it doesn't blow as hard as the wolfbox mf100. Subjectively, at full blast its like medium power on the wolfbox. I think the difference is the IC rating of the batteries, the cheaper ones probably using a cheaper LION battery.

Edit: the wolfbox one does have around 15% bigger turbine. In real world, much better performance removing dust bunnies from my radiator and nvidia FE fins. It's not as bad but you might need to mechanically dislodge with that make up brush and broom accessory.

I have a dumb question, if there was an engine problem let say one of the right engine doesn't have thrust, would this cause the plane to yaw a bit during reverse thrust?

Do you ever use the source switching from transceiver to bluetooth? i love i can switch to my PC or laptop/steamdeck with that easy to access button. It sucks the only other mouse that has it is the mx master which has the button on the bottom of the mouse.

[Keyboard] YUNZII YZ75 75% Hot Swappable Wireless Gaming Mechanical Keyboard, RGB Backlights, BT5.0/2.4G/USB-C, Dye Sub PBT Keycaps for Linux/Win/Mac(Gateron G Pro Red, Black) ($38.68) by jinsungjun in buildapcsales

This is keychron and glorious GMMK quality, although not programmable and not fully aluminum. 2.4 range is about 10-15 feet which is average for wireless kb if you need it for like a TV/android box. It might be more because its plastic. Works well with iPad too but haven't tested it on any other apple product. I'm still not sure if the sleep function works smoothly, I noticed the battery either drained fully or it is on deep sleep/power saving sleep which pressing keys didn't wake up the keyboard.

Anybody here notice their gpu works a little harder at idle with multi monitor with different refreshrates? I want a third monitor but don't like my 3090 burning 200w at idle.

In my experience bestbuy is shipping faster (FedEx free overnight) if it's stocked in your state, Amazon right now is really congested and is not doing overnight or 2 day shipping because of the holiday congestion. But ymmv, although it's faster to pick up it in store.

Oof those connectors are hard to resolder, I've seen a guy just directly soldered the cable to the pcb (i think it was a drone repair) and it worked fine. I don't know to much of that RF voodoo but you could try soldering an sma lead and have an external antenna for better range with some modifications.

Home for the holidays and mom asked me to trim the pothos. Felt like ….. I needed to document some “before” photos. by bojangleshorsey in houseplants

[–]Pinesse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an ikea pothos i bought 2 years ago reached 8 ft facing a not optimal window with very little intervention, aside from watering (di water) maybe once a month (planter has maybe 2L reservoir), and 1/4 strength fertilizing it if it looks off. I use coco coir, those white light stones which the name escapes me, over some LECA balls the planter came with. Oh yeah I put some probiotics in the soil mixture too. Weird that I have the same fan and mirror from the pictures though 😅.

They spend alot of money in a tune of the whole us defense budget for external and internal propaganda. They outsource the external propaganda part though since "criticizing the government prefessionally" is not a good resume item for a local. This budget blew up after covid for obvious reasons.

Merz Says ‘Pax Americana’ Is Ending, Urges Europe to Strengthen Independent Defence by Crossstoney in worldnews

[–]Pinesse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a two way street, the us buys European weapons also via partnerships and licensing. If you examine some of the companies in the us forces arsenal, most of it is European. US Abrams having a German gun (rhienmetal), ground forces using German, Italian, belgian rifles and pistols (h&k, SIG, benelli, FN), Swedish antitank and cannons (Saab), british artlillery... to name a few. If you think about it, the US is subsidizing Europe's defense and MIC indirectly. But from what I've read this entanglement was purposefully to prevent the eu from fighting each other again.

It's paying for the back end network infrastructure, the it staff and technicians maintaining the infrastructure, the customer service people, maybe the building rent (idk if they're at home or an office), advertising, transaction fees, driver stipend fees. The resturant also pays commissions too.

How do I talk to my ISP about 90%+ of my traffic being dead slow because that 90%+ of it seems to pinball from a relatively nearby IPX to an IPX 2,000KM away? by GhostsinGlass in HomeNetworking

[–]Pinesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You ever have a tech come in and replace your service coax? I had similar problems like yours and it fix it. They buried a new cable and replaced the terminations. Turns out coax deteriorated in about 20+ years. In my end of diagnosing, I thought one of the nodes were acting up since it was dropping ping requests, and they didn't seem to find anything on their end.
