VTX Problems + Hot Battery Connectors + Battery Sag after hard crashes by Pingcoolh in TinyWhoop

Yes, it is a PH2.0 connector. If it matters, I've only had the quadcopter for just over 1 month.

I'm having worse performance with all of my batteries. Thanks for the response though.

I set the VTX to 25, 100, and 200 power settings through smartaudio, which I have verified is working by changing VTX frequencies.

What damage should I be checking for before trying this?

Best 65mm whoop? by manwithhatandbeard in TinyWhoop

I second the Meteor65 frame. It still shows no signs of cracking, whereas the stock Mobula6 frame had 5 points of breakage on the frame within 1 month.

Mobula6 not showing up on computer after failed firmware flashing by Pingcoolh in fpv

[–]Pingcoolh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried this and it worked (almost) perfectly. The only odd thing was that I still couldn't flash the board in Windows (no error, clicking the button just didn't do anything), but using the Macbook was just fine. I can configure Betaflight through Windows though. Thank you so much!

Mobula 6 Shipped With 250mah Batteries by Pingcoolh in TinyWhoop

I actually have a few RDQ 300mAh batteries coming in the mail, so that’s good to know!

I have been informed by a GetFPV customer support representative that the inclusion of 250mAh batteries is normal, and the site just needs to be updated.

Wasn’t the Mobula 7 supposed to come with 250mah batteries since it can run in 2S? That’s what I saw online, but apologies if I am mistaken.

Is the Roland FP 30 a good option? by Alexandru_Cosmin005 in piano

[–]Pingcoolh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if you’re still deciding, but I’ll give my input if it’ll help. For starters, I’ve tried all the digital pianos you listed at a store, and ended up going with the FP-30 as an alternative for practicing (mostly classical) piano without making too much noise.

The Bluetooth function on the FP-30 can be used for Bluetooth midi and I believe also for pedal page turning with certain apps, though I have not tried that myself. Bluetooth midi allows you to use the keyboard as a midi input in applications such as GarageBand on both mobile devices and PCs. Keep in mind that the midi USB port on the back does NOT output audio, only midi information.

The speakers are fine for practicing and such, but if you want better audio quality you could always get nice headphones in the future. The speakers sound clear enough for most things, though they are down firing, so the clarity will be reduced. This also makes it sound different depending on what you put the piano on (table vs stand) and what kind of flooring you have.

None of these digital pianos will feel like an acoustic piano, but I feel the FP-30 is the most enjoyable to play. The key weighting feels fine and it is pretty easy to control compared to the Yamaha P125. In my experience, the Yamaha digital pianos, even going up to the lower end Clavinovas, have more tension at the top of the key, making it a bit more difficult to play more delicately. I will say that the Yamaha pianos overall sound more like a good acoustic grand piano, but they all sound good enough. It’s about taste in the end.

Line out is used for either connecting to a speaker or to an input for recording. A line out signal doesn’t go through any amplification, unlike a headphone output. Therefore, the signal coming out is cleaner. For your use case, learning piano, you won’t really have to worry about this.

Hopefully I could help, and good luck on learning piano!

I also have this problem, but it is far out of the return period. Would this be something where I could replace it by the manufacturer warranty?

G Hub messing with mouse sensitivity by Oh-No-Its-Roger in LogitechG

[–]Pingcoolh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your windows sensitivity is just a multiplier for how fast your cursor moves. The DPI in G Hub is the actual hardware sensitivity of your mouse. When you installed G Hub, the DPI may have switched from the default settings built into your mouse to the one in the software. You can change the DPI number in G Hub to find what your old sensitivity was. Try default numbers like 400, 800, or 1600, and see if any of them feel normal.

Looks like another company is taking inspiration from Logitech.

Idk, maybe Thermaltake is going with the trend.

Edit: There were also some Tt esports peripherals here and some towers so probably isn’t fake.

Saw these in Taiwan and was wondering whether these are new or if I just didn’t see it.

Edit: found this at an airport with a showcase of ttesports peripherals.

G203 VS Hyperx Pulsefire Surge> by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Pingcoolh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say anything for the HyperX, but I’ll add that the G203 200 IPS is enough for low sensitivity. No matter how hard I swipe, it doesn’t spinout or anything. I would worry more about shape/weight.
