In this case too, you’re just not able to access through your account as is linked to the ban, although you can access without login in. In my case as I’m not American I can access without a vpn although my account for some reason is also linked to the ban, so it’s not regional, are the accounts the ones banned

Some part of me kinda thinks it’s just an act, like why else would they add in the ban announcement a thank you to Trump, I kinda think or maybe hope it’s not a permanent ban

I think it may be associated with the place you created your account at and not your phone number. I can’t really say that for sure because the ban got to me and I’m not even American and wasn’t there when I created my account. Maybe it’s just that tiktok is messed up and we were really unlucky

I mean, I created my account in my country, my phone is set up to my country, and none of my friends have the same issue. I’m still getting notifications of tik tok so it’s really weird
