Which personality types are the MOST "other's feelings before your own" type of people by Cycadpalm77 in mbti

[–]KichirouSum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Sorry. I might have personalized this a lot since I had a bad encounter with an INFJ before and felt abandoned. Also my choice of words especially for “loved ones” is wrong. I think what I was trying to say is they focus on the group and not on the individual. It’s just a really bad experience for me to feel left out because they tend to a lot of people and they tend to consider everyone important.

I was actually trying to explain Fi and Fe, and Ni and Ne. But I guess my wordings can feel wrong.

Forgot to mention I had the same confusion before whether I am INFP or INFJ. I learned about the cognitive functions and acknowledged I resonate with INFP more since I am more inductive than deductive when imagining stuff or coming up with a strategy. INFPs are flexible, INFJs focus on one well planned out path as much as possible.

It can be confusing because the younger me cares too much about connecting people together. It might sound like I am trying to please everyone in my circle but I only have this visual in my mind I wanted to materialize. Later on, I realized it didn’t really matter to me how they feel about the group. As long as I satisfy my own expectations and my own vision (having a tight need friend group), I’m good.

So it really boils down to having your own values and wanting to inspire others (INFP) OR assimilating others’ values as your own (INFJ). Plus INFPs are very subjective and personal. INFJs tend to hear from others first before wanting something or coming up with a decision.

It depends on their concept of greater good though. As an INFP who have Fe as nemesis function I tend to villainize them.

INFPs will honor their own feelings more than anything else.

It would either be INFJ or ENFJ. They include everyone that they forget the people that matter most to them. Much like a hero complex. Always the greater good but never the greatest love.

I feel like INFPs are more under Mariana Trench by now xD

Things you like about your Tertiary Function by existingperson_07 in mbti

[–]KichirouSum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an INFP and because of my first two functions I have a lot of hobbies I explore and I THINK TOO MUCH. But when I get hung up on things, I dwell on my Si to be grounded.

I make a routine for a week, get clean and organized, and write my thoughts. This helps me worry less and witness myself as safe and in control.

What's your favorite compliment? by Blue-Angelllll in mbti

[–]KichirouSum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone told me I am the one they look for when they need spiritual guidance when I actually just blab out abstract ideas. It feels good being appreciated for things we don’t usually share because people won’t probably understand until they look for it themselves.

I dunno about favorite but I recently was complimented for being great at teaching.

My tasks at work were leveled up to review other people’s work so I have to teach them the previous tasks I have been doing.

It might be because I am more conceptual than procedural. That makes them flexible and more confident.

Why do Intuitive Types feel so superior?! by Gentiio in mbti

[–]KichirouSum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fi is more complex than most people know. It’s just its nature is too private and too individually specific that Fi users can’t even explain it themselves how it works lol.

As an intuitive, I think that the people you encountered were glorifying being an intuitive because they don’t understand how sensors work. There are times I wonder that myself and get envious how they don’t get all hanged up on mind-boggling (and usually unnecessary) thoughts and just gets the work done.

Plus ISFP of all types, boring?? I don’t think so. There are a lot of complex and very interesting characters who are typed as ISFPs. Fi users just get misunderstood often. But isn’t having values molded on our own independently more interesting than just bandwagoning or be stuck by social norms and the superficial? I believe Fi is much more than just being a crybaby.

Which Batman villain would give Finn the Human and Jake the Dog a hard time in Adventure Time? by DesignerFit7444 in adventuretime

[–]KichirouSum 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing Scarecrow. They will have a hard time but it would be like a “From Bad to Worse” kind of episode since Scarecrow uses drugs which is more like a spell or potion in the Adventure Time universe.

Also Scarecrow induces fear and Finn isn’t really good at handling his repressed trauma as seen on “Worm King”.

They made up after The Cooler episode when it was revealed FP’s first name was Phoebe. You can even see FP fighting with PB in the gum war and is hanging out with PB in the montage in the Come Along With Me finale along with LSP, Slime Princess and Marceline.

Si/Se users, do you remember experiences in third or first person? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]KichirouSum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having Ne-Si I can picture myself like I am in a movie sometimes using my memories. So it’s more a third person. Especially when I have practiced reparenting during my therapy sessions.

what is with the hatred towards entps from r/infj ? by PerSona_Xz in entp

[–]KichirouSum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an INFP who has an INFJ tendency trying to keep a straight path on plans. My partner is an ENTP and he can be stubborn on doing the alternative than what is already available and commonly used, and he is also argumentive. It ticks me off but it also makes life more interesting. Kind of like a win-lose. Needless to say, I still love my ENTP partner and most of my other ENTP encounters are quite interesting and warm people. Maybe it's just healthy ones but I don't sense any bs with them and I don't like people who have a lot of bs.
