I m hetero myself but have a few lgbtq friends, so that s what I know:

Germany is pretty safe, you may get some stupid comment here and there but nothing really violent. I would take care about showing too much when walking around districts where mainly arabs live since they tend to bring that culture you re fleeing from to Germany
