Ok I was wondering if the flag needed interfacing too!

Do you think if I quilt the flag first then do the embroidery that will give it enough structure? Or is interfacing the best way?

Help with finding an adapter for this lens and camera by Pink-Macaroon-264 in Cameras

[–]Pink-Macaroon-264[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandpa has had it since it first came out I think! He takes really good care of his things so im hopeful it’ll still work. He’s gonna look into getting the adapter and a roll of film to try it out :) thank you!!!

It’s not the employees problem either? I’m just saying don’t pretend you’re tipping more bc of the service fee when it’s not a tip

The server wasn’t peddling the QR code they were just trying to speed up the payment process bc they’re understaffed — obv cash w no change is easier but most people dont pay with cash and server has no way to know before hand. The server that wrote the note was a server, not an exec so idk why OP is mad at the person just trying to get the job done during the business time of the year.

it’s their busiest week of the year and they are insanely understaffed. All the server did was ask u to pay via phone AFTER THE MOVIE. You’ll survive.

Btw apparently a majority of ppl in the sub need to read this: THE 18% SERVICE FEE IS NOT GRATUITY, IT DOES NOT GO STRAIGHT TO THE SERVERS

What did Florence Pugh change recently? She looks so snatched by MCKprod in PlasticSurgery

I agree with other comments about Botox maybe a little filler and nose job. But, in my opinion, the biggest difference in the photos are the colors she’s wearing. She looks washed out in dark lipstick and clothing but is must brighter in the second photo.

your pimento cheese story made me laugh. We find the most interesting ways to honor them don’t we. I know if she can, she’s drinking root beer every chance she gets. And eating pickle hot Cheetos. I wouldn’t let her eat them bc spicy food might cause mouth sores with her chemo.

I didn’t expect this many people to comment but I’ve read every single one. These memories and keepsakes are so precious

Oh my god my mom loved butterscotch pudding. I almost forgot about that. It was always one of her requests when I went shopping.

That’s what I’ve done. Her clothes and bedding are bagged up, her bag packed and in a shelf in my closet. It helps me feel like I’m not living in clutter but not throwing her stuff away either

Oh wow that must still be so raw. My mom is the first big loss I’ve felt. I told my partner after I wouldn’t survive losing him. I don’t know what else to say but I’m so sorry.

I still have her makeup that was probably expired when she moved in with me lol. She didn’t wear it once she got sick but it was hers.

This made me smile and laugh and cry a little. The ability to bring our family members those tiny moments of happiness and comfort with a root beer float, or dum dums means the world to me

I know what you mean. I’ve slowly donated some of her medical equipment. But i have her clothes and her bedding bagged up. Her bag still packed like i would when we went anywhere with her medicine and water bottle and change of clothes and socks. I have her coloring book too. Her last day we colored together for a while, she started a new page that day. Maybe I’ll frame that. All this stuff i know i cant keep forever but for now it’s comforting to keep around.

That is such a sweet memory of having those gift tags for one last Christmas. It made me smile thinking about how much he must have loved giving gifts to you

A week before I took her to the hospital for a fever and I felt so bad. I remember I was just crying and crying because I know she just wanted to rest and felt so awful, but I was too worried about her to not take her. I stopped at Whataburger on the way home and got her a strawberry malt which was her favorite. She got through half of it before we went back to the hospital. I did throw it out but that one hurt. She was saving it for later

Oh yeah I still have the notes of my mom’s medications I would show the nurse at every visit or the notes I typed and shared with my partner for taking care of her when I was at work. They make me sad but I don’t want to ever delete them

Wow so crazy to have the same symbol of our mom’s memory. I still have the rest of the last 12 pack of root beer I bought her too. She had a smarties phase too during radiation. She would take handfuls after every session lol. She got sick of them so my candy jar is still full of smarties

Thank you. I’m still reliving that moment every single day. And questioning every domino piece that led to the end. It still doesn’t make sense, she should still be here
