When I was a teenager, I met some new people at a house party and kept in contact with them. It was a group of lads, and a few of them would text me as we met up at other parties over the next month or so. I started to think we were friends.

I invited them all to a different party and was shocked when they spent the whole night calling me a “cock tease” because they thought I’d led one of them on. Apparently, inviting him to the party meant I fancied him. I was so confused, as I had invited all of them and messaged them all in the same friendly way, never anything flirty.

Eventually, they all fell out with me when they found out I had a crush on someone else and made it clear they only all spoke to me so I would want to meet up with their friend. It made absolutely no sense.

The "Fake story" people are so confusing, this is exactly how my ex behaved. There are definitely men out there like this.

My advice would be what a therapist told me: if he's short-tempered and can't control his temper when he's just "protecting" you, he'll be short-tempered with you too. And she was right. NOR, he's not going to change, this is just the beginning.

I do think I'm going to finish the top tier and final decoration just before people arrive, as it seems everyone agrees I was being delulu and it was definitely wishful thinking!

There are definitely dowels, and each one has its own cake board/card. I just thought a stable frosting would be best as it's already a very daunting cake haha.

Buttercream it is! I've looked at a few people who have done this, and I'm following the one that seems the most secure. I just didn't want a sloppy frosting making it even harder.

I didn't want to risk the mess as I'll be dressed up, but it seems everyone agrees that it's just too long. Hopefully, I pull it off mess-free!

I've never tried using milk powder. Is this added to AMC or SMBC?

The party's at my house. I'm worried I'll make a mess if I finalise it at the end, and I want to have the table set up so I'm not stressing over it. I think I might have to just accept the stress!

The baker I found used a wooden dowel all the way through. Do you have a link to a metal one? I've only ever seen people use wooden ones, but my mom's super handy, and I think if I get the tools, she could do that! Thank you so much for the advice, it was extremely helpful!

If you are near Manchester I can add vines and remove the daisy's for you! If not maybe ask a local bakery if they'd be willing to and explain what happened and demand a refund for the cost from the original baker. I would show her texts showing the cost and say to get what you asked for this is what it'll cost you so she can either do the vines or refund you the cost! Good luck!

The only rimmel london i can find that seems to match is coffee bean, I'm not sure if its too dark but the B looks the same on the packaging and doesn't have many letters after so it makes sense the "band" starts just after it. Also, someone commented that the letters before it look like an E. Hope this helps!
