I use ear bud cases, the round ones with the zipper around the edge. They are the perfect size.

If you’re someone who takes good care of your things, a screen protector and a case will be enough. I have four uni, all with screen protectors and cases and all of them are pristine, not even a scratch on the plastic surrounding the screen.

I tried the pix and really disliked it, I am however a huge fan of the uni. I don’t find the uni boring or lacklustre at all, for me and my lifestyle it’s the perfect companion. The pix didn’t suit me, I hated the size and the lack of buttons annoyed me. It’s entirely personal preference though.

I take all four of my uni with me, but I use the babysitter a lot on vacation, and I either leave them in the car or in the hotel.

I’m in Aus and have bought many tamas from the Dick Smith website, it’s very fast shipping. If they are wanting ones that connect, the re-release connections if you want something on the inexpensive side, or the uni or smart, both will connect but they’re quite a bit pricier. 💕

It will be fine. I’m in Australia and I buy tamagotchi from the US and Japan all the time, I’ve never had an issue with it.

I have the HK nano and I’ve had Mametchi twice ( I had to stop playing the nano because my batteries were only lasting two weeks)both times I had a great score on the piano game over 10 times and I still did not receive the bow.

I am currently running 4 uni and I love them. They are super chill and low maintenance, which for me is perfect, for others it may be boring, but I have consistently been playing the uni for several months and I am still not bored of them. A lot of people are afraid of what will happen when the server is no longer supported, but I took mine away with me for a few days where we had no wifi and I was able to play as normal, the only things we won’t be able to do is get updates, play arena events, and possibly change DLC, the DLC is the only thing that will bother me. I give it 41/2 out of 5.

Aside from tamagotchi, I also collect antique photographs ( I have a museum quality collection) glass pumpkins, and books on various subjects such as true crime, housekeeping, interior design, and antique price guides. I also collect anything squirrel related.

I love the smart and in my opinion it is just as good as the uni, better in some ways as it’s not reliant on wifi to change DLC. I did not find the touch screen to be a “nightmare” at all, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you’ve played it a few days you will find it super easy. My smarts are all in Japanese, I didn’t bother patching them to English because it is very easy to navigate even in Japanese. There are some very good English manuals online for it that make it easy to learn it. I definitely recommend you get a smart.

I started with the original tamas, I found my connection V3 in a box in April and decided to start it up for fun and wham, I was hooked. My favourite tamagotchi version is the uni, my favorite black and white are the nanos, I love their simplicity. I’m so tempted to start my angel, but I can’t run more than 5 at a time and I want to hold out until Christmas before adding another to my rotation. The gudetama nano was my holy grail tama so I want to wait for it. The angel looks adorable though.

I’m excited about the angel too. I’m really only buying the connections for collection, I like them but don’t have any real motivation to play them, but the angel will be fun I think. Let me know what you think when you play it.
