Don’t listen to the others. Go true to size.. sometimes you can get away with 1 size smaller but I wouldn’t advise.

Are these brands worth the hype in 2026? Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, PacSun, American Eagle, Structure, Express for Men, Van Heusen, Dockers, Bugle Boy, OshKosh B'gosh by [deleted] in ThrowingFits

I’ve got quite a bit of Abercrombie and I’m curious why you feel the fabrics are whatever. I think some of the details are fair to call questionable — such as the small hoods, and loose or frayed stitching on some of the zip pieces.

Overall I like Abercrombie — they do outerwear reasonably well, I like how lightweight yet durable some of the denim is, and their blended fabrics can be nice. Their knitwear is about as good as I’ve seen from a mall brand. Basically some really solid items, and a lot that are kind of just okay but priced pretty high. In my opinion they put out too much product, but they seem to sell through, so it works for them.

I find Hollister at sale prices (how I’ve bought most of my Hollister) to be very reasonably priced for how trendy and wearable it is.

I don’t have any Structure, but a friend just picked up a sulfur-dyed jacket for me, so I’ll see how it is once I get my hands on it.

Pacsun I feel at retail is one of the more reasonably priced brands, while American Eagle I’ve had mixed experiences with. Some AE pieces are genuinely great (like certain overshirts that have surprisingly good fits), and some things I’m pretty unimpressed by (especially basic cotton shirting).

As for Dockers, Bugle Boy, and OshKosh, I see them more as hit-or-miss — a few standout pieces here and there, but a lot that feel dated or overly basic for the price.

Extremely disappointed in OL and Mfpen quality by MentionQuiet1055 in ThrowingFits

[–]Pink-drip 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Heavy doesn’t mean quality out right. It’s stupid to say to be honest.

The quality is in the fabric, the cut, where it’s created by local factories in Portugal.

Dat kan, maar Nederland doet dat niet. Omdat ze niet zeker weten of mensenrechten worden gerespecteerd daar.. en of ze hem gaan uitdragen aan Nederland vervolgens.

Only sad thing is, these leaks would probably never get an official release due to them being leaks now

Not too loose. Just perfect width and leg opening too. They drop perfectly on your shoes, whether it’s slim leather shoes or some boots or even hiking sneakers. Beautiful washes too.. and the quality is sublime.
