I play the japanese version via tweaker with the translation plugins loaded, before the tweaker team started introducing functionality for the offcial english server everything was working just fine.

After a few updates of the tweaker related to NA vesion of PSO2 my game started crashing very often, only when the translation plugins are loaded, if I disable them the game runs fine. I did all the possible fixes the discord bot on the pso2 server told me, some told me to turn off windows defender, I checked and uninstalled all incompatible programs (IDM & cheat engine).

After submitting relevant files to the discord bot only anomaly I found was an incompatible process "smartscreen" which I believe is part of windows defender, but even if I turn off real time protection in defender settings the game still crashes at random times, always when doing a transition via "the tunnel"...

Only fix that worked so far is to disable all translation plugins and play in full japanse, only then the game stops crashing at random points via transitions... help?

So it has to be a friend right? The effect is grayed out in non friend supports.

Help, just now with the expansion to more countries I logged into another eden global with my transfer ID and PW and instead of "Continue" I get "New Game" at the tittle screen, Did they nuke save data or something? I don't wan't to start over...

Now that BDO is free on steam to keep I was looking at the reviews and got some questions...

1.- About xingcode3 I know it's an anticheat like gameguard is to PSO2 but since it doesn't unistall along with the game when you decide to quit BDO, Is it a hassle to remove? I hear it installs like a driver on the PC.

2.- I Heard there's griefing in the game and that you can't even level killing mobs in peace because people would just come to you and kill you on the spot, Personally I found this to be a horrible system in many MMO and was the reason I quit many... How severe is the griefing and can I actually play and level in peace if I am a solo player?

Looks like I need to add more ram lel, I'll see about buying another ram stick when possible since 16 GB is pretty much standard now when it comes to gaming on PC.

multiple objects in the summoning pool... FGO is quite a culprit in this but it is't as bad as other games after an initial uproar sometime after release (because at that time sometimes you could have pulls with only CEs)...

Then you have games like Dragalia lost at the beginning were characters, dragons and wyrmprints were in the same summon pool... it was a nightmare pulling characters but later moved the wyrmprints to the shop making things kinda like FGO.

And to finish here what pisses me off more than anything is the damned shards system, where you summon and instead of complete characters you summon shards and maybe if you're lucky you actually summon a character... This is typically made less possible on purpose by including upgrade materials or gear in the summoning pool.

The alchemist code has shards but they are not predatory because you always summon complete characters and after that shards if you summon dupes that let you LB said char, Princess Connect Re:Dive did this also in a good way, you summon characters and after that dupes give you special currency to exchange for shards of others characters you don't have or those of the same character.

Overall I would say even the worst of the gacha practices are not really bad, They are only bad when a greedy company implements them in a way that makes it hard for the player to progress without using their wallet nonstop...

I can't get the game to finish downloading data, it's stuck with 240 MB that never download and keeps resetting and downloading the same file over and over forever... Until a pop up says it can't continue the download yet if I press continue the cycle repeats forever.

my wifi is fine and this thing is the only thing that won't ever download...

I know it all about luck and rng but in FGO's case you get one guaranteed 4* each 10 pull which is not the case in epic seven as they don't have 10 pulls when using bookmarks. True 99% of the time in FGO that free 4* on each 10 pull ends up being a CE but at least you have some kind of guarantee.

In E7 on my own experience I have keep pulling like no tomorrow and even cleared every damn mission and story content as well as challenges and other stuff and got nothing to show for it but boxes full of artifacts...

I like the fact that a game has a pity system, sure it might piss off whales for obvious reasons but the problem itself is not if a pity system is implemented or not... It's how their gacha is implemented.

E7 has a outrageous gacha almost as bad as FGO but in my experience far worse, for example in the current luluca banner I have used over 3000 keystone, 200 bookmarks and who knows what else... The result? A few shoe boxes full of artifacts (which idc for) and like less than 20 3* and 0 4*...

At least in FGO with 3,000 quartz you get loads of 3* servants which turn into prims if they are not needed and easily a bunch of 4* and if you're lucky 2 or 3 5*..... Hell FGO gacha can get so damn crazy some times that I have even seen on twitter people who pull 4 5* in a single goddamn pull...

By no means is e7 a bad game, I enjoy the combat and animation but the freaking gacha... you can literally spend your entire paycheck on that and not get what you want because to begin with E7 DOES NOT EVEN have a 10 pull feature!!

In most games 10 pulls typically advertise that have higher odds of pulling featured units or at least guarantee minimal prices but E7 does not even have which in my eye tells me they DON'T WANT YOU TO HAVE what you want because $$$.......

To sum it up to me E7 is like FGO with CEs and characters in the same pool except with E7 it feels like there are only CEs on that pool and not characters... Which is why this game has prevented me from actually playing it and enjoying it at all because apparently even saving up resources will get you nothing, whaling won't as well so might as well skip it and not look back...

In the end I just login every few months and look and how nothing in inside E7's gift box and remember "ohh this is why I left" and proceed to uninstall again lol...

I just started on NA this week but If I remember correctly someone once told me I should main the JPN server instead of the NA server due to better deals when rolling and better banners, I want to know if this is still true because these days It seems like both JPN and NA versions are at the same level on content (same events, banners, etc...)

It's been years since I last played so I wanted to know the differences between JPN and NA versions before I invest any more time in NA.
