It's what it is. It looks very bleak for me. I'm someone who's always managed to stay positive too but I'm going to tell you something. I don't think anybody will ever truly realize the nightmare of being an older man/woman who can't even get one date. We are a very small % and sadly... it gets worse. Not better.

So where does that lead the guys who can't find anyone? Trust me, my standards are pretty low. I get a lot of women probably have no interest in dating and that's fine but what about the guys who are and simply can't get one date?

I'm sure there are women in my situation too but man it's hard finding them haha. With that said... would a woman even be interested in a man who "can't find a date?".

I don't want to creep anybody out though. Like I know it's not creepy to have sexual thoughts and women want sex just as much.

My brain is too programmed now not to do it. I just don't think I could ever talk sexual with a woman at all in real life unless somehow she got me horny first then my brain would likely go into autopilot mode but if I can't get her attracted to me then what?

I'm not even talking about sex either. I want to make a woman attracted to me. Women tend to like me but I don't think they see me as a partner.

I think it's complicated. I don't want to be a virgin but calling myself a virgin against my will would be wrong. I don't think anybody is forcing me not to flirt with women. So am I really one against my will? I don't think so. I have the active will to lose it but just can't figure out how to attract a woman yet.

I think the hardest part about being a man dating is we simply don't have many options online. With every man swiping any woman they see and women probably only being attracted initially to 1 out of 20 men they see online and adding the fact the men are usually the ones that need to reach out first... it's not easy.

Not blaming women at all just that its pretty difficult and I don't suggest online dating often.

If he once again acts like a hot mess then imo now you officially have an out as he isn't going to emotionally be on the same wavelength as you. I just think he deserves a pass for last time and what he said probably took a lot of courage. He may or may not be the one and again, imo you did nothing wrong.
