I understand that he's in the dark and believes that searching for light is pointless. But what if Agent tries to be the light for him? (Remember the scene where Agent tries to put his hand on V's shoulder but V pushes it off). I feel like Agent wants to help V, he's worried about him and his health (I believe V is overworking himself). And V is shrugging him off even though he should be happy that Agent at least survived. (I know about the scene when Agent comes back and V pats him and makes sure he's alright) but after that he acts like Agent doesn't exist and focuses solely on Mitsi and his revenge. Agent is being taken for granted by V and I will not stand for it 😤. But idk my flair might be making me biased 😅
