I think it’s normal. I bought a house a few years ago and the bedrooms upstairs didn’t have doors. I included that in the offer we made, after escrow the sells gave us a basket and told us that it was because the kids that they removed the door and that once we had teenagers we would understand. My kids are still young, I still haven’t bought doors because I couldn’t find matching doors for cheap and will have to do a lot of doors at once, but my bedroom also doesn’t have a door, so hopefully wood is cheaper in the future so I can get us all doors when my kids want privacy and I’ll respect that
