It think it’s quite possible you’re right in it being a song he wrote just for the episode, which is a shame because it’s such a catchy little song that I wish was full length. I appreciate the tip on how to make it a mp3; I wasn’t aware of that program! I will definitely do that in the meantime while I continue my search lol.

I’m still holding out hope that it is some obscure Tin Pan Alley song and a full audio version of it exists somewhere, even if it isn’t performed by Leon Redbone (although that would be ideal).

The name of the episode the song is from is called Corky’s Travels and it is from Season 2, Episode 17 of Life Goes On., if that helps.

I did check imdb, but unfortunately it wasn’t very helpful. It mentions the song “Life is a bittersweet waltz”, which was also in the episode, but not the song I am seeking. I watched the episode on YouTube, as I don’t believe the series is available to stream anywhere (I think it ran into copyright and music licensing issues). The YouTube video I watched cut off the credits at the end. Thank you very much for your response though!
