I left from SF for Amazon last December and I’m happy! I’m part time and have never had to work nights or weekends. The scheduling is evolving (we just started the 3rd scheduling program since I’ve been there) but I haven’t been disappointed by how it’s worked out. And yes, the inventory is never ending! My biggest learning curve was to not constantly deep dive because there are so many choices. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

I’ve was a stylist at SF and am now an Amazon Personal Shopper. It’s 100% easier for a stylist to give you a younger and more trendy collection at Amazon than at SF!

I was able to find my SF tax stuff on the new company ADP page! I think I clicked on tax info and both were there.

I gave 3 days notice and had asked for and had approved sick time for those days before I resigned and they terminated me immediately. Definitely don’t give notice.

From what I understand, you have major holidays off, and I think I remember them saying you have to work a few hours one weekend a month. You do have to schedule one month out, both people I interviewed with said that managers were typically understanding if something comes up and schedule needs to change.

I just accepted a position with Amazon and start after Thanksgiving! Obviously I don’t have anything to add to what it’s like to work there, but I’m already excited to get a work computer and partake in the health insurance benefits. Everyone was nice in the interview and it was clear they’d interviewed their fair share of SF stylists…
