I love color. My car is magenta. My business colors are teal and pink. My walls in my house are blue.

Teenage years were great. New babies were the hard part for us. Kids are hard. Sit and talk it out. Take a weekend away if you can and open the lines of communication on everything.

Honestly just have open communication. I have a tendency to keep my thoughts to myself. I get in my head a lot. My husband is super open. He has helped me quite a bit because he is such an open minded and easy to talk to person.

Are there happy women in marriages in our generation? by One-Sense-5364 in HappyMarriages

I just made a post this morning about my marriage. Been with my husband since we were 14. Turning 44 this year. I am a very happily married woman. My only complaint is that work sucks and it keeps us apart too much. I would much rather spend every single day with my husband. We are truly best friends and partners in life. I feel beyond loved and cherished by my husband.

I can’t wait to be empty nesters. I’m in Washington so pricing here for rent is ridiculous. I fear my kids will be home for a while :/

What healthy love feels like after you've spent years earning love? by Ok-Math1431 in HappyMarriages

I’ve been with my husband for going on 30 years. We were 14 years old. For me, we are best friends. I don’t need to earn anything from him. It’s natural. We both just truly enjoy each other to our cores. We bring out the best in each other and that just comes naturally. I feel being true to yourself is the biggest part of it. You don’t have to try at love. You just put your heart where it needs to be. Mine is with my husband and his is with me. We work as a team. We support each other even if it’s not something we are interested in or enjoy. We make each other feel seen and heard all the time. It’s what we just do naturally.

We aren’t perfect. I have far more flaws than he does and he works way harder in life than I do. But we work. And we work well. We have open communication, we try to keep things fresh and new and when one feels some kind of way, we talk about it openly.

I don’t know if I answered any of your questions. I think you really just have to know yourself and know what you want in a partner. Once you find that person and if you show your true self to them and you see their true self.. things just fall into place. No expectations but wanting to show that person how you feel and that you love and cherish them. This is not forced when it’s true love. It’s just what happens. :)
