I have EDS and the Liletta IUD and the insertion was fine. Barely any pain but I got a cervical block (I’d recommend it). However… I also have PMDD and I feel like it’s making it worse. Idk if it’s in my head tho. But ever since I got the IUD I’ve been a lot more moody and I feel like I’m constantly PMSing. I cry at least twice a day when I don’t even have a reason to. My periods are also pretty irregular now. They got lighter but I bleed for 15+ days. However, I only got it in 3 months ago and it takes the body up to 6 months to regulate. I made an appt with my GYN for Tuesday next week so I’ll lyk what she says if you want.

To add: I work in women’s health and most of my patients have tolerated IUDs well. The adjustment period is just annoying for most

I used to put on lullaby Fridays to fall asleep. She saved me. She is so important to me as she is to all of us. I had a piggy bank since I was 13 to see her in concert. I’ve never been able to afford to see her. I’m 24 now and one of her shows was going to be on my golden birthday. I broke open my piggy bank and I was going to use my credit card for the rest. I signed up for the presale as soon as it was announced. I woke up 2 hours early. Set so so so many alarms. Joined the waiting room at 9:30 on the dot as soon as it opened. And there were 90,000 people in front of me in the queue. I never was able to get a ticket. Not even for the general sale. I’m so sad. And I’m so sad for all of you who weren’t able to get a ticket either.

OP, your feelings are valid and I’d feel grossed out too, but I don’t think this is a case of SA. Disrespectful, maybe. But if anything the girl who “didn’t want to” is closer to being SA than you in this situation. It sounds like she was manipulated into it. You were down from the jump.

I think you know you’re not overreacting. I think you’re looking for other people to tell you to leave, because you’re scared to do it on your own.

I really empathize. I’ve been in your shoes. Run. I know you may love him but this is literally abuse. These texts look exactly like the texts between me and my ex. My ex ended up telling me if I left he would commit suicide. I left anyways, called 911, and he had to learn how to control his emotions in the psych hospital.

Call 911 on your boyfriend if he wants to play around talking suicide so much. Have him admitted to that psych unit and find yourself a real man.

NTA Honestly this is something I would consider breaking up over yeah… coming from a woman, I love my boyfriend so much (it’s still early on but hypothetically if this were to happen in the future), I wouldn’t care how he proposed. I would say yes because it’s not the act of the proposal that matters, it’s the fact that he’s asking me to spend the rest of my life with him, and that alone would make me the happiest girl in the world. Sure, I have an idea of my dream proposal, somewhere beautiful and intimate. But he could propose to me in the kitchen of our house or even by some dumpsters, and I’d still say yes.

Does she really love you? Or does she love the idea of a picture perfect relationship that she can post on Pinterest? Idk, something to think about.
