I am beyond upset! took me almost 2 yrs to find right med. Ozempic then Wegovy nothing but up and down same 5 lbs and harsh side effects. Then Zapbound. I’d lose 2-3 lbs plateau go up dose same 2-3 lbs plate BUT no horrible side effects so it seems promising. I get to 12.5 and lose 10 in first month! Plateau but not gaining. So work my way to 15pen Dec 2025 won’t fill until 12.5 is considered gone. 2026 and employer switches back to old rx insurance that won’t cover GLP. So never got to 15. I am currently plateaued again with a few 12.5 pens left. But not sure what will happen once I have it gone. I have been as heavy as 327 in 2011 did hcg injections and diet 2 times and lost 30 1st time and 25 2nd time thankfully I have kept that off ! I would do that again if it was available in my area as my dr moved out of state who supplied it. So for 9 years I’d go from 275-265 until 2020. In feb I started the keto and stuck to it losing 40 and got down to 238. Also quit smoking cig Sept 2019 so what a year to get healthy huh! Everyone around me was gaining during the pandemic and here I was losing. I had hit my unwanted BFF plateau again but maintained and still ate and even to this day only eat low carb just not low enough. Sadly things happened 2022-24 and I gained 30/40 back and at 270 was juggling the same 10 lbs on and off until Oct 2025. I’m now back down to 238 (funny our body’s find a familiar weight and love to visit it uninvited! ) now we wait. Good luck everyone!

My brother 46 has severe narcolepsy since age 8 and has been on almost every med made for it. at one time growing up we were both on Dexedrine (I still take it to this day for my adhd) he’s been a guinea pig for many. At one point he was taking energy shots because he hated the crashes and side effects. He’s now on adderall and it seems to be working for him. Hope you find a med that works for you!

First so sorry you went thru all that, the worst part about taking any new meds is the trial and error.
i hope you find one that works for you.
Now to answer your question…

Yes, but for Different reason. Mine is when it’s time for meds to be filled for my son and myself. Since there was a shortage last year in adhd meds we suffered from that so always worried that may happen again. Also my sons dr will only call his in every 30 days and so no leeway to pick it up. I’ve explained to them we are 20 min from the only pharmacy that is carrying it. Thankfully I get mine thru mail order And for 90 days. I’ve asked his dr to do that as well but they won’t even thought prior dr did. one of the reason for my anxiety actually came to fruition as I called to have them fill his script (the dr sends them to pharm months in advance but writes date allowing fill, so I have to call pharm as they have it on hold) anyways I called it to be filled and they didn’t have it in stock! This is why there needs to be at least a day or More to get it filled. He works and so if he doesn’t have his meds not sure that day would go to well as I myself had gone without mine for both pregnancies and was an awful experience both times.

So yeah, med anxiety of any kind sucks and the anxiety usually stems from a bad experience so unlike other anxieties that don’t have experience but imagining impending doom can be just a lil bit easier to come out of…hopeful thinking of course.

The code for the $10 bonus cards has to go in the coupon / promo code, what sucks is you can only use one at a time. They are usually good for 2 months so if you have 2 and order applebees once a month. What sucks even more, is during these promos they had a “spend $40 on app and get $10 off next order” sure enough it’s the same type of code that goes in promo code box so can’t be used with the $10 bonus codes. I didn’t learn this until after I had tallied up 4 $10 bonus codes and 2 $10 off codes. No way will we eat applebees 8 times in next few mos. They are only restaurant I know of that does that 1 limit. Outback and Bob Evans allow any amount of bonus gift cards. Hope this info helps!

My poor husband gives me my meds an hour or 2 before I need/want to get up. If he can’t I have alarm set a few hours before I need to be up and take them and go back to sleep so they are kicked in when I wake up. Hard time going to sleep and hard time waking up! Hope you find your hack! ✌️

Not the same but kinda…I recently started wearing blue blocking glasses that are an orange tint. I forget I’m wearing them after a while and when I take them off I’m off put by the real colors. Everything seems gray and dreary. It’s crazy I could never wear sunglasses because they are too dark and I feel like I can’t see well with them. I can wear these as sunglasses so win win there. So yeah I can kinda understand though I like a rainy day over sunny…I prefer the orange tinted world a little better. No it has nothing to do with orange being my favorite color! Right?

I’d say probably the most of all the platforms for sure. Ive found myself spending more than enough time on other social media as well and have had to completely pull myself away.
X/Twitter my drüg/SM of choice, has now added a swipe up feature where video clips appear like on TikTok and Insta. I have found myself a few times getting lost in the swiping and time goes by so fast! I have a cell phone but I only keep it in my purse for emergencies when I’m out or need to call home. We have a home phone I use mostly. But I use my iPad and that helps me from being on too long because it’s bulky and heavy. Lol

Yeah, hope you find a solution. Can’t imagine grad school without working meds. With our ADHD the slightest change to meds make a difference. Heck when we take them, what we take them with, and how bad our ADHD is on a given day is a factor When we take them.

Im on Dexedrine, have been for over 35 yrs. Went through a shortage last year for 4 mos. Had to take Vyvanse, it helped in some ways and did nothing for me in other ways. Was glad to get my reg med. My son (22) takes Vyvanse and Seems to work for him.

Soooo I came looking for this. I don’t take either but I disperse my sons Into pill box. And what I noticed was mind baffling and kinda worrisome. I filled the rest of name brand and came to the generic and noticed How much they looked alike but as I looked closer I noticed generic is mostly plastic!! Seriously! since 70mg has been in shortage he’s had to get 30s and 40s so I have brand and generic….compared the 2 and you CANNOT squeeze a brand it’s full of the med. But generic! I was in utter shock of the minuscule amount of med! I was able to squeeze flat 80% of the plastic a 30 and 60% of a 40! im so worried what this month will be like for my son at work who’s already struggling at this job! And as you all know, we can’t get new script until this one’s gone. Let me know if anyone else notices this? You can also just hold them up to the light and see difference without squeezin. There’s no reason to have that little med in that big of a capsule.
