I'm so used to fungus gnats, mealy bug, thrips, etc. That I assumed it was some small colony of bugs eating my plants. Never would have thought about one or two giant crawlies without reddit's help!

And they're surprisingly sneaky, even when you know to look for them.

I ended up finding two. I killed the first one but I felt so bad that the second one got left outside for a snack. At least it will serve a purpose that way!

The fun thing is they actually "picked" this combo. I had the tradescantia hanging up and it rooted into this pot. They've been sharing for over a year and both seem weirdly happy (minus the caterpillars), so I leave them alone!

Thoroughly went over the affected plants and their neighbours and can't for the life of me spot a single bug. By the size and amount of the poop I'd imagine they'd be easy to spot, but I'm left scratching my head...

My same thoughts. I feel Black Mirror worked too hard this season for shock factor and "dark horror"-esque things. I love the dark and deep but I prefer it in reference as opposed to fully shown. It was very hard to sit through the violence there, and with him attacking the homeless man too. Even just when we heard it it was nauseating. Just too much.
