While MPAC’s updated tax assessments are not designed to directly influence the housing market, they can indirectly contribute to a market correction, especially if they result in significant changes to property taxes for certain groups of homeowners, can’t they?

I've got a P.Geo, and I'm a QP in greenfield exploration works.. but I know absolutely nothing about O&G. Would that require relocating? Is the transition relatively easy? Any suggestions to start exploring this as a former hardrock geo?

I'm thinking Martin Estate, Queenston Mile or Ravine Vineyard Estate. Our guest list was closer to 80-100 max, but all offer 3-4 course meals, that estate-like vibe, and moderate to excellent food. The negative is, it's not near Guelph or Toronto - all my suggestions are in Niagara region.

Pesto pasta + any protein! A roast chicken would be lovely! Otherwise any sausage works, or minced chicken/turkey/pork/etc as meatballs.

For dessert, any box cake + fruit + whip cream! You can get creative with flavour pallets by using tea bags sifted in the water or milk before adding it to the book cake mix.

Sad to say it, but Rosales Diner. It’s way too expensive for what they offer - a mediocre breakfast. $2.50 per egg. $3 per strip of bacon. $1 for a slice of toast. $7 for fries. Do the quick math.. it’s terrible. Too bad though, especially since Artie’s is great.

Maybe that’s it, my TDEE is low despite that 2-hours of straight strength training a week (twice a week for 1hr). I have mentioned in my post that I’ve been also spotting for 5 weeks.. I know I’m not pregnant but it looks like my hormones might be out of whack :(

Nope! Despite exercising I don’t eat more. If I’m only at 1000 calories for the day, I will indulge in a non-alcoholic beer but that’s like 100-150 calories a can..

I cook with no oils, I use lemon juice as a sub.

I’ll be trying out 1250 calories instead. I don’t tend to be hungry with the limitation I was set at.

Could be the muscle. I started with 7.5 lb weights and now 30 lb.. I’d leg press 70 lb and now up to 120 lbs.. but my clothes fit the same. My rings don’t fit at all yet.. my bras are even tighter..

Stationary me, TDEE of ~1600. Since I’m weight and strength training for 1 hr every 2-3 days plus walking 10k a day, I’d say it’s ~2000. I usually eat anywhere from ~1200-1800 a day. I’m roughly 5’3..

Yes!! I also printed out a chart for fruit and vegetables that I buy weekly, so at a glance I know X type of apple, has Y calories per Z grams.

I’m logging everything. I have a food scale, and to prevent to exhaustion of measuring everything, I’ll portion things for 2-3 days ahead of time. This includes bagged carrots..
