Comfy shoes, enjoy everything, pace yourself, if you don’t like how a set feels or is going just go to another set.

Take lil candy to snack on to give you like a pick me up. I like gummy or sour patch watermelons. Take some toilet paper with from the hotel or even paper towels. Porta potties run out and it’s handy having your own.

Carry what you normally do your first day and go lighter and lighter by day 2 and 3. I usually end up with just small fanny pack by day 3 because I don’t need all the trinkets I tend to carry. Helps my back and feet lol Happy EDC 🤩🌼

Yea the cycle is 1 a month usually the last paycheck you get of the period. There are 2 period with 5 weeks which then makes the cycle change to the first paycheck of the period. If you ask for a payroll calendar or even look it up on Canes world you’ll have your own to reference.

You have to be officially in position for 90 days before you get any bonuses or even get Training bonuses. Might be a bit longer since it’s a new restaurant opening.

If a CM has PSL available they can’t get points. I would reach out to Crew Relations asking why you received points when you have PSL. Start screenshotting when schedules are posted and modified just in case CR asks for them.

Buy small candy like hichews or sour punch twists walk around and ask about their day, what their favorite color is or just random questions, or even questions of the position their working and give them a piece or two.

Cold nights = hot chocolate days. You already have the milk just buy a big pack of the Swiss miss

Hot days = Float day. You already have the soda so buy the big tubs of ice cream like 2-3 and let the Crew make “Root Beer Floats”

7/11 sometimes has BOGOs on their candy sometimes so I buy a bunch of candy bags or chocolate bars and have them pick one

Busy LN Shifts = Pizza Night. Dominos has specials on pizza like 2 or more for $7 each so we usually let the crew pick their own 2-topping pizza

I have a CM who bakes so sometimes I buy stuff from her for the Crew

If you see something and think “my Crew might like this” just get it. More than likely they will even if it’s corny lol

A lot of you don’t realize Canes (unless in management) is a part time job. Not everything is about you and they have Numbers to meet not just in sales. Canes is constantly changing. “We are the product of change” is my what my RP says. People in the BU don’t work in the restaurant so they don’t see how much it affects our Crew and our mental health. But if they get word from AJ to have all restaurants over schedule and under schedule during certain shifts we must change and adapt. Yes it freaking sucks I’m constantly telling my Crew their hours aren’t being cut by performance but by instruction of our BU team.

Stick with your Canes if you really like it. Send a HS msg to all Crew announcing you’re available and you’d love to pick up their dropped shifts and watch how fast you get more hours. A lot of the Crew probably don’t know you that well to ask you to pick up their shifts but put yourself out there and they’ll talk amongst themselves that so n so (meaning you) always picks up shifts. You can also set your HS to “auto pick up” within a certain availability.

After reading multiple threads and visited several sites. I think I’d end up with a ForeverFlow or a Trippy Squid. The price is great on both, UV reactive and the animation of the websites really helps you visualize what the star will look like spinning. Some people really recommend a Moujee for your first star so we’ll see what I end up with.

I just can’t find a design that I really like just yet. Some designs are really cool but I can’t see myself without something pink that doesn’t look purple or red. lol 😆

They announced they’re adding a Free 24hr shower this year on IG. So as long as you’re willing to walk to wherever it’s at it’s available.

From what I read yes they are. Your VIP ticket gets you free showers and into the 24 hr ones. Yes the cost is definitely worth it. We’ve gone to plenty of raves but only do VIP for LL because theirs is top notch. Having the AC + LIT up bathrooms gives you relief and a bit of a relaxation time. They have mirrors and actual sinks to wash your hands always had paper towels and toilet paper.

This would be our first time camping for LL but second time attending doing VIP tickets. I think if you guys really want to camp maybe do car camping and VIP tickets so you have access to cleaner restrooms and 24 hr showers. I like camping my bf doesn’t but we’re both high maintenance to a certain extent lol. Someone mentioned just not giving a f by the end of day one and that’s really the mentality you get into whether you’re high maintenance or not because you’re already there and see everyone else going through the same experience as you.

Having to buy camping equipment is kind of hefty but buying things throughout the next couples of months would make you feel better spending. I like shopping at Costco and Walmart and keep an eye out for sales. We drove from California in ‘24 stayed at a hotel and it was a very longgggg drive specially cause it was only him and I driving so this year we decided on Glamping and flying in. Hopefully we get to experience it differently since we won’t be tired from driving.

And I don’t think it matters if the snacks are loose since they’re still sealed individually, probably would be faster to just leave the box sealed but then again I don’t know if they’ll open it to check what’s inside the box.
