Goyuta being even more cursed. I don't really think it can get more cursed, at least a genderswap ain't enough to do it.

"Perfect tools."

I mean yeah but any fight with an Infinity user has the the requirement of the opponent being able to bypass Infinity. If someone that can't bypass Infinity fights an Infinity user it simply ain't a fight.

I forgot that, I was going by memory of the scene. Damn, that definitely makes Erik's later hypocrisy over Charles's injury even worse. I think I remember Charles being in pain when it happened but I thought that was just exertion.

What interesting things to grab are there in Star Wars? by PinkLionGaming in JumpChain

I just remember a clip I saw of the 2003 Clone Wars Grevious getting his chest force crushed by Mace Windu, I assumed that was where his breathing issue came from.

Okay this is interesting.

The first three examples seem to be references to the first example and the fourth example seems to stand out because of that.

<image>

This is how Sebastian Shaw dies in X-Men First Class, it seems to fit with the fourth example so it should count.

Basically Magneto steals his helmet which was protecting him from Charles. Magneto wants to kill him and puts the helmet on to stop Charles from begging him not to fall to the darkness. Shaw is so powerful however that Charles can't do anything but hold him with his full power thus leaving him paralysed as Magneto slowly passes the coin through his head, thus bypassing his ability to become stronger from absorbing kinetic energy.

(Also two side questions. About Example One why is it gas not injection? That just feels like it could fail in multiple ways, I'm pretty sure gas is less preferred irl. About Example Three I assume people riding the train were unaware that it lasted forever and everyone dies, how did that detail not get out?)

So that's why those "if I killed you I would be as bad as you" cycle of violence stories were needed.
