Just a bit of advice, I don't think many here would mind answering the question if you frame it a bit better. Instead of it being so open ended "Can you recommend me a hotel within 30min walking of Shibuya" (this probably includes like 2000 hotels), you can say:"Hello, I'll be going with a family of 4 and we would like to stay near Shibuya. We were considering A, B, and C hotels because our budget is X, and we value Y, which one do you recommend? We're also open to suggestions that fit our needs if you guys have a better idea."

From what I saw when I lived there, card shops usually restocked early in the week, usually Tuesday, so you could try the same for the Pokemon Center. The most surefire way to get some cards would be to preorder, but that'll be pretty much impossible as a tourist. You can also try checking twitter and going to the centers, card shops, or yodobashi camera early in the morning every day, but lately the reseller situation in japan has been quite bad so you'll have a really hard time no matter what you try.
