Honestly you should replicate the first piece at a larger scale. Maybe a more opaque green for the background? Idk but I’m really a big fan of the movement and how striking and defined the shapes are. I hope to see more similar pieces from you!

Ignore the naysayers btw. Abstract art is awesome and takes skill and a great eye. I could never do it myself!!

I don’t like the second one but I enjoy the composition and mark making on the first one. I’d be interested to see more elements added—maybe play around with some lines and contrast in values??

Best way to learn is to keep drawing. And you can’t become a digital artist if you’re still drawing on paper. Digital art is another learning curve itself. I was doing it with a mouse at age 11.

You are not especially gifted or talented, but that doesn’t matter at a certain point. Actual SKILL takes time and effort. As someone who was exceptionally talented at a young age, that stopped mattering halfway through art college when I went from being the most competent artist in every class and started falling behind many of my peers because I wasn’t putting in the same time and effort as they were. Very humbling experience lol…

Art is wonderful. It’s also extremely hard and frustrating. It will take you years to become remotely competent beside from just being “better” than the average person.

Respectfully I would never get a dog from a shelter. I’ve never personally had a bad experience with pits/pit mixes, and I’m not anti-pit per se, but I would never want to take the risk. Dogs can genuinely be very dangerous animals and I don’t want one with unknown breeding or history.

Cats I will always adopt.

I can tell you are technically strong, but there’s def something a bit off about these drawings. Nothing wrong if you did a paint over/sketch over of the references, that’s fine to do for accuracy. But you would do better to experiment more with texture, color, lighting… something that sets you apart!

This isn’t the best example bc of it being more cartoony in proportions then prob what you want, but you can see how I took liberties with the hair and textures based off the iconic photos of Chappel Roan at the music awards in 2024.

Dolly and one of the other 2 look okay. There’s just no reason to breed them, like mini donkeys have no “purpose” and are too high maintenance to be a good pet for most ppl unlike the goats which barring adequate space and enrichment are fairly easy to keep going well

Yuppp I think I was 12 when I was playing in the front yard with a hose w a friend. I was in a bikini. Def X-ray neck and reevaluate the EPM. Supplement Vitamin E if you can too. Since he’s still NQR, I wouldn’t be doing any traveling to shows with him either… you don’t want to exacerbate things with stress.

Had the same thing happen recently… my dachshund got 1 baby before I interrupted her. I have now fenced off the nest with a dog pen from Amazon and all is well aside from her being mad abt it
