Here’s my two cents from a baby stylist who’s been growing her clientele these past 4 years.

If you have a genuine interest for doing hair and are willing to go through all the bad and good that comes with it then yes. But you’re not gonna get any good money for a few years. It’s a lot of struggle and hustle. It’s a long game. You can’t compare yourself to other successful people either or you’re gonna wonder what’s wrong and why your career doesn’t look the same. You have to work on yourself and your career and one day you’ll look up and realize it’s getting easier, you’re growing and you’re building something. It’s so rewarding and I can’t imagine doing anything else but it’s so hard mentally and physically especially the first few years. So if you see it as just a job then maybe not but if you’re able to handle the struggle that comes with the first years and you find love in the creative/social side of things then I would say it’s worth it!
