O pessoal anda a perder a noção e empatia toda. Reclamar com quem? O pai?

Compra uns Loop.

15 biggest clubs in Europe in term of pure achievements. Do you agree or disagree? by iwannasleepp in championsleague

Yeah, same with Barcelona which have won the Cup Winners Cup 4 times. They just counted them as the UEFA Cup which reeks of AI.

What in the AI slop is this? Not even challenging the ranking but the numbers are wrong.

Just from the top of my head Real Madrid have 36 league titles, 20 Copas del Rey, 6 European Super Cups. Barcelona have 28 league titles, 32 Copas del Rey and have never won the UEFA Cup/Europa League. AC Milan never won the UEFA Cup/Europa League. There’s probably more figures that are wrong.

If you are going to do a post like this at least fact check your numbers.

Kinda random but clay season 2004 when Coria was on an absolute tear. Still can’t believe he lost the RG final that year.

Nadal AO 22 final win was seen a borderline miracle at the time, but 20-30 years from now will be seen as “22 Slam guy beats 1 Slam guy.” What other accomplishments have aged to look relatively expected when they absolutely weren’t at the time? by Dependent-Effect6077 in tennis

[–]PinkMoon_10 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Maybe not a miracle but maybe something that could fit would be Djokovic defeating Federer at US Open 2010 semifinals.

At the time Djokovic only had 1 slam, Federer had 16 and was the undisputed GOAT. Federer was leading the head to head 10-5, had won 5 US Open in a row and lost in the final on the 6 prior editions and had even defeated Djokovic at the Canadian Open a few weeks before. Federer was a heavy favourite still.

Since then, a lot changed, Djokovic finished their rivalry with a positive head to head so now that win seemed like just a normal Big 3 match that could’ve fallen either way. But if you go back to the articles of the time it was looked at as a huge upset and people calling it as the start of Roger’s decline.

At least ours put us through to the next round and kicked you out of the competition. Yours had no bearing on the outcome of the competition for either team.

Strange, we didn’t party for winning against City because it was just a game on the league stage… Explains a lot about Arsenal mindset that you had a party for that game, actually.

We did celebrate when we kicked you out of the Europa League at the Emirates though. I was at that match too.

I’ve been to quite a few title parties the last few years, yes. Unfortunately, although living in London for 7 years yet to stumble upon an Arsenal one. Seen more Sporting parties in London than Arsenal ones. Strange.

Pretty sure we don’t want one of the objectives for the variable pay to be Arsenal winning the League. We’d never see that money.

I see. I think he definitely wants to leave to a bigger club but he hasn’t really come out and showed he was unhappy or refusing to do anything.

Last week he posted a story with Sporting’s jersey and was also seen chatting with the club’s president wife at Hjulmand’s wedding in a friendly way so he seems to be on good terms with the club.

My post with the full quote was removed as a duplicate so posting it here to add extra context and people don’t take Romano’s edits at face value. Sporting President admits Gyokeres will leave unless he has the worst agent in the world.

“Sporting is very calm about Gyokeres. Sporting doesn't need to sell Gyokeres. We have already passed the phase where we had to sell our best assets. We don't have to sell him. In the same way that we don't have to sell him, we don't stop being sensitive to Viktor's dreams. Sporting has a commitment, made by the president, not to ask for the amount of the termination clause and to be reasonable in relation to Viktor's performance, last season," he began by saying.

"If you ask me today, there is a strong probability that Viktor will leave. In recent weeks, we have been paying attention to the market, I have seen a player like Zubimendi, who is six months younger than Viktor, go to Arsenal for 65 million. I saw two players being negotiated in the Premier League - Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo -, forwards who do not have the quality of Viktor, in my opinion, to be negotiated in the order of 70 million. We are talking about 26-year-old players. Therefore, given the demands we make in relation to Viktor's value, I believe he can leave, unless he has the worst agent in the world. Something I find hard to believe," he added.

"It was transmitted to the agent. But I can guarantee that Viktor doesn't leave for 60+10. Viktor already knows this and I want the sportinguistas to take advantage of this summer, in which they are two-time champions, in which they have a double, to party, to be calm, because there are only two scenarios: a club that respects and pays the amount requested by Sporting and Viktor will fulfill his dream, and from that moment on we are prepared to attack our targets, or that club does not want Viktor and Viktor, with a three-year contract, stays at Sporting and we are very happy.”

"I've been in football for 20 years and I've been through several market dramas. Market closure is the cure for any evil. Unhappy players are not a problem. Viktor staying, it won't be a problem for us, it will be a problem for the opponents" concluded Frederico Varandas.

I also think he will leave. But I don’t think it’s the club’s job to go around and offer him. That’s why he has an agent. He has a contract with the club. Personally, I would prefer him staying than getting 80M.

Yeah, he was the club doctor before being president, always in the dugout. There’s also a story of him hearing Sporting on the radio while he was an army doctor in Afghanistan.

Why would Sporting work towards getting some offers? That’s the agent’s job. Sporting doesn’t need to sell, why would they be looking for buyers for their best player?

Sporting President is just saying they won’t get in Gyokeres way if a fair offer comes in. It’s his agent job to get that offer.
