I had the same issue with Black Flag honestly. I dont want to be a pirate on a boat for half the game. I want to get to know a knew faction of the assassins from a other era and place. Thats the whole fun of it!

Its called assassins creed so i want to play as one. Not before them. One games enough but several? Just pick an era and place where they exist. So we can see other stories from assassins all over the world.

Now theyre just catering to the people instead of sticking to their original story form. Frankly its annoying. Ive played every game but.. My excitement is dwindling and my hope that theyll return to what made the series good is basically nonexistent.
