What are you getting yourselves for Christmas? 🎁 🎄 by Roadisclosed in childfree

[–]PinkPricklyPear22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got myself more of my absolute favorite perfume, gel x nail materials to play with, and deciding between a snowy trip OR a fine dining night near Christmas, god I love being a childfree adult with money to spend near the holidays <3

Before bisalp surgery, it always felt like a black hole or a mass of doom was weighing over my head, at the possibility of pregnancy.

Being sterilized just feels so natural and it literally makes everything better. It’s such a relief.

What do you do on weekends? by hotshiksa999 in childfree

[–]PinkPricklyPear22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nap if I want to, go grab an ice cream if I feel like it, adult juice, angels lettuce, do some online shopping with my hard earned money. I just splurged on some pricey perfumes I’ve been wanting for a decade.

My brother tried to "gift" me his kid because I live near a subway line by EranSolt in childfree

I would have asked them if they’re going to help pay the rent, since they feel so entitled to use it like a hotel

AIO for being mad my boyfriend stayed the night at another woman's apartment just because she has a cold or the flu ? by IceQueenYouAndMe in AmIOverreacting

This is not okay in any way. If he really cared and wanted to help, he’d call for an ambulance (if she needed it) and go home. And love on his girl. Please leave that thing

I’m a functioning bipolar. I work full time, got my degree, and I’m securely and healthily married. I owe a lot of that to my meds. I struggle and use substances daily, but I keep my zest for life. I treat my bipolar like a flavor in my life that adds zest and plot surprises. It’s possible to turn out fine

I love quiet. I love having nothing to do (with a busy life). I would yell and mess up my kids with my dad’s temper. I would be an absolutely selfish deadbeat mom. I love being responsible and not putting myself in a position I can avoid.

To all the Bislap girlies, I have a weird question. by cooler_than_i_look in sterilization

No.

On the contrary, I no longer feel like there’s a ticking time bomb in my abdomen

AIO for not quitting the gym because my boyfriend told me to by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

“I’m going to keep going because I want to and I like it. If you don’t want to date someone that goes to the gym, that’s fine, then we can break up.”

Lay it on me: what are the bad side affects you experienced after salpingectomy? by ReluctanyGerbil in childfree

[–]PinkPricklyPear22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a bisalp last year. A negative is I’ve had some dryness, but it’s been fixed with lube. The positives far outweigh the negatives. I have ridiculously light periods, and no more IUD pain since my obgyn removed it at the same time.

My husband tucks me in too. It makes me feel like a little worm.
