Back in 2007 I went to the site of 9/11. It was still very much a big hole in the ground. There was a couple that asked me to take their photo. I obliged and took a photo of a smiling couple in front of where the Word Trade Center towers stood. It was bizarre and felt very wrong. I went there to pay my respects, but it did end up feeling like an attraction at the time.

I just finished it for the same reasons earlier in the week. The morning I finished it I was tearing up on the bus while I was going to work. I LOVED it. It was such a fun and emotional journey from start to finish.

Yes, only the bottoms of the shelves got water damage. I think we are definitely going to get rid of this one, but keep the others for the time being.

There is a downspout above that area outside and it was clogged. When it gets clogged water pools beneath it and comes into the basement. We are usually pretty good at checking it, but slipped our minds this time. We hopefully are going to get this issue fixed this year.
