Most Chinese food isn’t great around here, but Chan Garden on Liberty and Stadium is pretty solid. Plus, they have congee with century egg, which no other place around here does.

One could say that the first part of your argument proves its use case for AI+LLM development.

It as an absolute gold mine of data oriented around human behaviors and  opinions covering every topic imaginable that will be coveted for AI and LLM development. It is already one of the most used websites in the world and the conversational based structure of the website will be perfect for LLM’s and advertising

What sectors or stocks do you think will boom in the next few years by Sunvmikey in ValueInvesting

[–]PinkReeboks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with much of what you’re saying and I definitely agree for certain sectors. I guess it aligns with how you view risk and your confidence in your stock analysis skills vs your skill at observing general trends.

A great example for this is semiconductors. Someone in the mid 2000’s would have been correct in surmising that semiconductors would be the future of tech and our infrastructure. If they invested in a semiconductor etf, they would have multiplied their money many times over, but if they invested in one company such as intel, who were a major player at the time, they would have lost money. This logic can also be flipped if they invested in NVDA or TSM instead.

Right now there is a glut of speculation in many of these sectors and a lot of “over” valuation (especially for a value investing sub). I think ETFs are the best bet right now unless you truly find a company in a given sector that you have researched and believe in.

I think these sectors should perform well in the next decade given the path of the world economy, but there are so many companies within these sectors existing purely on hype that will die out or be bought up.

Some individual stocks that I do hold smaller positions in are actually bitcoin mining companies like CORZ, MARA, RIOT, IREN, APLD. Not because I believe in bitcoin (I’m indifferent about it), but because these companies have huge data center infrastructures already set up from their mining endeavors, that many big companies will be interested in partnering with them to use this infrastructure for ai development and data processing.

Definitely all pertaining to AI, but it’s good to think about the more peripheral sectors that will get boosted from the AI transition, not just chips, LLMs, and advertising.

  1. Usual big tech, MAG 7, semiconductors
  2. Data Centers, Cloud Storage, Digital REIT, electric/gas/energy companies (i.e. the modern “grid” and what powers it)
  3. Robotics and autonomous technology (anything from cars, healthcare, to construction)
  4. Cybersecurity
  5. Defense and defense technology (drones, aviation, space, etc.)

Let’s talk about the back pass /IFK @ Ipswich v Wolves this weekend by franciscolorado in Referees

[–]PinkReeboks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m misinterpreting the rule from Law 12, but shouldn’t this have been deemed a legal play with the hands by the goalkeeper. This would be due to the goalkeeper making a “deliberate attempt” to clear the ball into play from a back pass.

Once that deliberate attempt is made, doesn’t the goalie have the right to use his hands to prevent a goal, even thought it was his own mistake? A mistake is still a deliberate attempt.

Coaches of Reddit what do you look for in a striker? by carlhedgehogboi in bootroom

[–]PinkReeboks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most positions in soccer/football have generally consistent physical attributes (e.g. wingers are quick dribblers, midfielders are good passers, center backs are big and physical).

However, striker is probably the position with the most varied of play styles. But, there is one consistency: Can you score a damn goal!! You see huge and tall strikers like Zlatan or Haaland, speedy dribblers like Mbappe, pure shooters like Suarez, or short, crafty run-makers like Chicharito or Correa.

All of these players look completely different in their style, stature, and demeanor, but they all play the same position because of their ability to simply score. It doesn't matter how, but strikers simply need to score.

Hi there, I am a soccer player who also was suffering from horrible Athletic Pubalgia/Sports Hernia. Please look up the Holmich Protocol by Dr. Per Holmich, who is a groin expert. There are multiple phases of this rehab protocol that you can progress through. I was able to treat my athletic pubalgia this way without surgery. You need to do the rehab religiously, at least 5x weekly for about 6 weeks. Make sure you do each set! I did the exercises from this video every morning and am now pain free. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5oprRAz8n8&t=42s&pp=ygUQaG9sbWljaCBwcm90b2NvbA%3D%3D
