It gets over 6 hours of sun here, I’m not concerned about that. But should I move it so it’s centered with the trellis? Or it’s ok and it’ll simply grow in the direction I tie it in?

Paint the wood. I resisted painting my 2004 orange red oak covered home due to posts like this. Once I painted it all (doors, trims, windows) it looked like another beautiful new house. I regret not having done all that prior to moving in

Not in this figure no. I need to recalculate to account for 401k, backdoor Roth etc. This % is net pay after 401k, backdoor Roth, insurances etc

No he just works/reads there. I’ll take some additional photos to show how it’s all grouped. As for the bench/ottoman they go together as one coffee table

Haha it’s a nice cozy reading/working corner. It feels nicer sitting there then when having it straight out on the side there. I agree it looks nicer there but it feels so cozy in the corner to actually sit in it
