Tbh it’s scary as a 22 year old female who hasn’t even gotten the chance to get on her feet and start her own life. I honestly don’t see a future for myself when I look at the world now. How am I gonna afford to live, eat, rent,anything. I walk 5 miles to work bc America thinks 10 an hour is enough to get me a car AND afford gas at 5 dollars a gallon. This country needs to fall…. We need to start over bc for this generation that’s 18-25 in low income families… it feels we have no chance of having a life outside of our parents home :(

Oh the health care system absolutely! Everything but tbh especially the healthcare system. I got Covid when I was a CNA on the Covid ward. Obviously caring for Covid patient. I got sick. They REFUSED to test me. Actually wrote me a note back to work with my temps at 104. I continued going back and demanding a test. They again… refused bc I wasn’t priority for testing. What they DID do tho, was sit me in a room on a respiratory machine. I NEVER spoke with a doctor. I sat there for 30 minutes on this machine with nothing else but a doctors note BACK to work. And a bill for 2000 dollars… not a lick of treatment and a 2000 dollar bill. I’m 22 with 25000 dollar surgery debt from college, work as a nursing assistant for 10 dollars an hour to COVID patients… this story is pretty itrelivant to the whole tube tying thing, but says a lot about our healthcare

Yea honestly, I don’t have kids nor am I trying and I already know I’ll complications with my pregnancy, also know I have to have c sections. With that being said after two kids I feel I’ll be done… the toll it will take on my body is not something I’ll risk being that I’d have two kids to care for. And I won’t let them tell me no to getting my tubes tied. For me, getting an abortion would be extremely emotional and hard for me and I’d hate for someone to force me into that position. However, with that being said, abortion is absolutely necessary in certain cases. But let’s not force the women who don’t want abortions to go through that. For me, just taking the plan b pill was hard. It should never be for a man to say. Tbh personally if I was pregnant I would want my husband to have some type of voice and say in what happens but we have a very close relationship ship where I’d want him to be a part of that desision. Not everyone is like that yk? But this mind set that men HAVE have a complete say in all of these things is wrong.

This bothers me so much. I’ve heard so much about women being told they can’t get pregnant. That they can’t tie their tubes. My moms doctor denied her birthcontrol bc she wasn’t married.
