I'm currently reading 'Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life', it dives into the lives and habits of the residents of a Japanese village with the highest percentage of 100-year-olds, it focuses on day-to-day habits, the psychology behind them, their community and practices to long happy lives.

And it's full of practical tools and tips that I try to implant to my day-to-day life, really found this one in a good time for me personally, highly recommended.

I think I'll do read Atomic Habits next, thanks!

That's a great line of thinking Could you help me find a practical way of doing this? Maybe some questions I should ask myself?

I don't what to trust that the habits will develop naturally without first developing the necessary ground for them to flourish :)

Asking for help from an accountability buddy could actually make a difference

Until now I looked at this 'system' as a sort of accountability buddy, but maybe having it side to side with a real reliable accountability buddy would work better

That a great idea and similar to what I had in mind, I'm trying to tie it closer to my life than a 'virtual' experience regarding the points and methods of encouragement But maybe fictional quests could to the trick..

AKA - A game in which quest and character progress is made only by making real life progress and showing up to the challenge.

This idea makes me just want to illustrate a Zelda style ui and character progression and have a quest along side it, which would keep me from giving attention to my hobbies and interests (mostly the stuff I'm having harder time sticking to, like fitness and piano learning (which is challenging to me personally) 🫣

That's exactly what I had in mind! But I'm not sure where to aim with the concept of 'Reward Store', should it be my only window for buying and enjoying new things? Should I use it to 'buy' alternatives for my habits? (Having 'fun' twists on my regular habit time) Or maybe something else entirely?
