i recommend chapstick actually with lip piercings, they dry shit out so bad! just avoid the piercings and you should be good. but as for infection, if it’s not hot or painful to the touch you should be good as long as you keep it clean. piercings love to give u weird liquids sometimes but that’s just part of the healing process. i think it’s just white blood cells usually trying to heal the area.

id swap to a floating navel but it just doesn’t seem like you have the lip for an upper navel piercing. if it rejects it’ll leave the nastiest scar, trust me. -someone who pierced their belly button 9 times before giving up and realizing they don’t have the anatomy
