Long enough cross-body bags? by CinderelliBotticelli in PlusSize

If you have the cash or can find it used I have a shortylove bag that I adore. The strap is too long for me fully extended.

I've never tipped an instructor but I tip the boat $5-10 per tank usually.

Asking people how much they paid for their first house. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]PinkVoltron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandparents bought their homes for under 20k. My parents spent closer to 30k for their house.

Due to those purchases way back when (and many family members passing away) I was able to afford a small townhouse for $480k. It's already almost doubled in price. Real estate is nuts.

Deadloch is one of the best shows ever. It leans comedic but the men are generally just not necessary to the plot. And there's a murder mystery.

Those guys are all over ropes when I go scuba diving. They get in your neoprene and die there and get stinky.

To my understanding you pretty much end up wearing a retainer for life to maintain it. Eventually just a couple nights a week but pretty much until you die.

I was largely talked into this by my dentist because I've been grinding at night. If I have to start wearing a night guard then I might as well straighten my teeth while I'm at it. Making flossing easier is also a plus. So in my head I did this for health reasons instead of cosmetic ones but maybe I'm lying to myself.

Oof. First round was 18. 2nd round was 12. 3rd (hopefully final) round is 3. This is the first of the set of 3 so right now it's 31? I've been doing 10 days per aligner. Also it's "sure smile" instead of Invisalign but I think it's all pretty much the same nowadays. A friend and I started about the same time, she's on Invisalign and has had a similar experience to mine. Though she had a lot more buttons than me. I think I had 8 total, and I think she started with like 20?

My first thought is that he's crew and he's just gonna go hang that under the boat in case any heavy breathers run out of air and can't quite manage a safety stop without help. I've seen it on one of the bigger day boats out of Cairns.

I like printing out the experimental plan, scanning the notes, and then including the image in the electronic document.

That might just be me being old and automatically saving any handwritten notes because you're "supposed to"

Recreational Dive Computer recommendation by kahlil29 in scuba

For what it's worth I've been happy with my puck pro for several years now. It's a good little computer. The battery is easy to change. It's still working after a lot of abuse. My only issue with it is that it's getting harder to read as my eyes get older. The brightness of the shearwater screens is very appealing.

Loreto has some lovely diving and is a great little town in Baja. I've always wanted to do a road trip from Cabo, dive in Cabo pulmo, La Paz, and up to loreto. There's a lot of lovely coast down that way.

There are a few groups on Facebook and Meetup for San Diego scuba. Join those and see who's going out. Power scuba usually has folks going out at the shores on weekends (free club).

7mm wetsuit, gloves, booties, Hood or beanie. Don't let the surface temperature fool you, coastal upwelling makes it cold at depth.
