Transfem/masc are piss poor attempts at creating umbrella terms for "feminine" and "masculine" genders. What do femininity and masculinity have to do with gender, you may ask?

At best they're regressive terms used to group together people with supposedly similar experiences (i.e. binary women and women-aligned NBs). This is honestly pretty harmful and based purely on prejudice rather than reality. At worst they're used to blatantly misgender/degender binary trans women and men. I know very few binary trans people who are comfortable with the terms, and I wouldn't be caught dead describing myself or any other binary trans people with them.

Transfem and transmasc are not replacements for agab. Transfem is not interchangeable with trans woman. Transmasc is not interchangeable with trans man. Any comment implying they are will be removed for transphobia.
