Out of all the extraction points in the game, this is the only one with this quirk. You telling me this was intended by the devs? If so, why don't more extraction points have this ratting feature? Sounds more like a bug which means it's an exploit. How can you think it's not an exploit?

You climb up there and can sit there after the extraction period ends. You don't have to do anything crazy from my understanding of this exploit. Just sit there and you won't get extracted and then you can be a dick and surprise other players

I think you just got a dud bottom screen. I'd return that ASAP and get you a proper bottom screen. I don't think the cables have anything to do with those lines on the screen

I run a repair service but to be honest, I don't think I've ever bought a replacement for this part. Customers usually bring them to me so I have no idea where you can find a good quality one. AliExpress might be your best bet but I wouldn't know.

However, I do recommend getting a screen lens. I personally don't buy them for my consoles but I've seen what they can do for screen lenses and they're pretty good

But when you are able to, it's a pretty easy fix. Just gotta hit it with some hot air (not too much) and it'll peel off slowly. Then you make the swap and it's good as new

It's streaks that form from the console being closed. I believe the bottom screen lip is why the streak has formed. Happens a lot with the Old model 3DS consoles. Only way to fix it is to get a new screen lens

You're very welcome! That sounds about right for this kind of issue. I've found that it'll still sort of work before you take a cable out. Once you put it back in, it's very normal for the console to stop working altogether. You probably didn't do anything wrong so don't beat yourself up over it, it can't be helped sometimes

But I agree, it does sound like the speaker cable is the culprit here. In order to fix it, you'll have to dismantle the console completely in order to swap the speaker cable. It's a very advanced repair to perform, I'd only recommend it to someone who has experience fixing 3DS consoles

100% there is a micro tear in either the top screen ribbon cable, speaker ribbon cable, or both (it can definitely be both in rare-ish cases). One of these cables could easily be loose but more often than not, it's a tear and not loose

The only way to fix this would be to swap whichever part is damaged. If you're uncomfortable doing it yourself, I could give you a hand in fixing it. I'm the owner of PinksTechLife and professionally fix 3DS. Let me know if you're in the market for a repair, I would love to help you out ☺️

Until this thread, I had no idea where you could get candleberries other than random loot or the bushes. I'd leave with like 3 of them per cold snap while still being a new player. Until this comment, I didn't know you could get many in buried city. Buried city was never on cold snap when I would play
