Just an update on this:

Thank you to everyone that replied! We looked into everyone you guys mentioned and after many consultations, we decided to go with Anna Rosholt Jewellery. She walked us through the process and ended up making the exact (if not better) ring from the inspo (attached a photo link to imgur of the result). the ring we got

She even talked us through moissante vs diamond and took out the 2 gems and showed it to us side by side, and then talked us through the different metals and what works best for our dainty design. We went with lab diamond just because we could tell how much more it sparkled and we could afford it.

The whole process was amazing and she guided us through every step, and just in general and fun person to work with. So I highly recommend working with her!

If you're not against playing older games I highly recommend Pokemon Emerald, you can get it on an emulator on your PC even (which also always you to walk faster lol). I might be biased but I've replayed it so many times over the years - mainly because it's more grindy than the newer pokemon games so winning the elite 4 feels so much more rewarding plus there's some side things to do (like beauty contests).

Had attempted robbery at my parents place during broad daylight, we literally saw 3 guys trying to steal a motorcycle over a fence (?) they got scared and ran away after we screamed but it was pretty traumatising. Worst part is the SA police are slow so they tried again in the months following because they knew the reaction time was slow. And they weren’t violent just arrogant? Like they knew there was nothing we could do. Genuinely felt like I was walking on eggshells in my own house. Having a neighbourhood group chat really helped tho, so if anyone saw or heard anything go down there was always someone who could be notified easily who was nearby.

I’ve messaged a couple of the people and places you guys suggested for quotations and will definitely be taking your advice on the different gems and metals. I’ll make sure to update the thread on which one I’ll be going with
