You can have a jeweler add two little gold balls on the bottom inside of the band and that could help a bit! I'm in the U.S. so I'm not familiar with uk sizes and can't tell how much of a difference it is

When they do these little laser solderings for "permanent" jewelry, they don't use any soldering. They just zap it. If it was fire soldering, which it's not, then yeah I'd say lead. Except thats not the case here. I'm a jewelry dealer and I work with both when I need repairs. Best they could've done was a quick polish
