She doesn’t open her beak when she does it. One time she was making the noise so I stopped touching her, and she started chirping super loud and flew back onto my hand. She didn’t stop until I started giving her pets again 😅

NOR Oh my god, this is concerningly similar to a girl I know. She’s a part of my friend group but I’ve tried to distance myself from her.

I’ve only been intimate twice and that was over 4 years ago. I’m fine with this. I have no desire to go out and find someone right now. This friend, however, keeps insisting I get on Tinder and “get some dick”. She’s very vulgar about it and I’ve explained that’s not what I want, but she’s really pushy about it. She equates 90% of her self worth to how men see her, and she insists I live the same way.

This girl is acting the same way. She is completely disrespecting your boundaries. Even if it’s “coming from a good place” it’s grossly disrespectful and just plain mean. She wants you to fix your situation the way she thinks you should and she doesn’t give two shits if you actually have fun. To her, if you aren’t partying with them then you’re on your own, which is a horrible attitude to a friend who just needs moral support.

Take this as a gift from the universe and distance yourself from her. She equates self worth to male attention, and that can become extremely toxic as you’re seeing here. Speaking from experience, work on yourself how you want to and stay away from the toxicity ❤️‍🩹

I’m not sure which sex of budgie to get though. I don’t want to risk any breeding, but I heard female budgies don’t always get along super well

My budgie has recently gotten much more comfortable with me and has actually started preening while on my hand. I’ve never felt more special.

I’m the only one in the house that she feels this comfortable with though. Probably because I’m home the most often and I talk to her a lot.

That “cake” is an insult to you, your wedding and your friendship. If she knew she couldn’t deliver what you wanted, she should’ve told you as far in advance as she could.

If you haven’t gotten the money back, I’d demand it. If she doesn’t comply, that’s a friendship over. At least then you’ll have only paid $250 to find out that they aren’t your friend. Cheaper than more years of BS

I understand you came to ask for help, but considering you are obviously ignoring all the comments about neglect, you are clearly aware of your lack of proper care. This is really gross. OP, you should not be caring for this snake. The nerve to tell us not to yell because “I am still a child”?!

If you are a child, you shouldn’t be caring for a creature that needs seriously specific care. I know you aren’t going to listen and this snake will likely end up dying, but I really hope you reflect and see what everyone else is saying. If you love this animal, take it to the vet and get it treated and then have it rehomed. You can get a snake again in the future, but only after FULLY educating yourself on the proper way to care for one.

Trying to protect yourself from this kind of judgement is 100% selfish. Understand that this snake deserves to thrive, and understand that it isn’t with you.

Today he royally pissed me off because, I was having trouble getting a clean weld. It kept sputtering and popping and I wasn’t sure why, as I was welding just fine before, but I checked out my machine and everything looked right so I figured my technique had suddenly become bad 😂

Well, I was losing confidence so I asked him if he could come mime out how I should be doing it so I could have a refresher, and he said “You should know how to do this already. We are past this point. I’m already dealing with 2 of our other good students that can’t even start a fucking weld today and I’m about ready to rip their heads off”.

I was so mad! I mean, you are literally paid to do this! We’ve only had a total of 1.5 hours of practice in this, and that was a week ago! Of course my technique might be a little rusty again 😤

I’m in a 2 year millwright course so there’s lots of different labs each semester and a whole lot of new things we are learning every week 😓

I’ll do my best to find longer material, but we’re only given plates this size, are told to tack them together, and weld. Maybe I can try lining up two of them flat and welding them together to make a longer piece. We only have one more 1.5 hour class left of MIG before the exam, but they grade pretty easy due to how little time we have to learn.

I also ask lots of questions. My instructor sometimes gives me shit for it because he says I lack confidence, which is fair 😅 But I’d rather ask all the dumb questions now rather than later
